About

Nicki Minaj is a multi-platinum-selling rapper from the island of Trinidad. After being discovered by Lil Wayne in the late 2000s, Minaj signed with Young Money Entertainment and quickly began breaking records — becoming the first female artist to top Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart in nearly a decade thanks to her 2010 single “Your Love,” which was featured on her Grammy-nominated debut studio album Pink Friday. That album took the music industry by storm, delivering the Diamond-certified smash “Super Bass” and introducing fans to the rapper’s penchant for alter egos among her blistering lyricism and rapid-fire flow. Considered one of the greatest female rappers of all time, some of Minaj’s biggest singles include “Starships,” the Grammy-nominated “Anaconda” and “Chun-Li.” She scored her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2022 with “Super Freaky Girl” — the lead single off her fifth studio album, 2023’s Pink Friday 2.

    AMAZING NIGHT

by ecmads on 2017-09-11Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

First of all this review is 2 years late! But I thought I would write one anyway. I went to see Nicki Minaj at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on July 28, 2015. The person who wrote that Nicki Minaj was on stage for under an hour was clearly not at the concert. I have many videos to prove it. She was on stage for a while... about 1.5 hours. She seriously rocked the whole crowd. People were going wild for her, the vibe was good... seriously SO AMAZING. If Nicki Minaj came back to Toronto, I would see her again 110%. She put on a great performance and made the crowd very happy. I'm super glad I got to experience the concert. UGH SO AMAZING!!!! :D

Niki Minaj was NOT worth the money spent!!!

by Furious on 2015-09-03Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

I am so upset that I paid for my 3 daughters to attend this event and Niki Minaj was on stage for under half an hour. She was to be the feature artist and that's who I paid to see. If I had know that, first - she would have made her fans wait approximately 1 hour between the opening act and herself and, second - that she was going to perform for such a short period of time I definitely would NOT have purchased tickets at all!!!

    nicki minaj was amazing

by VickyG on 2015-08-22Rogers Arena - Vancouver

This concert is definitely one of my favorites - the music and dancing, and interaction with the crowd by Nicki Minaj was at an A+!!! I also was entertained happily by all of the opening acts.

    Live but short concert

by Anonymous on 2015-08-22Rexall Place - Edmonton

The opening acts Tinashe, Dej Loaf, Rae Sremmurd and Meek Mill were fantastic in livening up the audience. Nicki Minaj came out later, but it was too long of a wait. The setlist was good but not as great as it would have been if she performed her other songs that were promised in the setlist. It lacked some of the best songs on her new album, The Pinkprint. The concert itself, without the faults of its length, was unforgettable, enjoyable and felt like a party. The venue felt electric, though not as much as in the upper seats. There was one main reason for this: the monitors in the middle of Rexall were not turned on. That means that we had to keep looking to our side to see the performance. All in all, Nicki's last performance for this leg of her tour was fantastic, lively and energetic although I wish that she lengthened the concert to perform most of her songs.

    Pinkprint Tour Was So Basic.

    by Peterpan102 on 2015-08-21Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

For the level Nicki Minaj is at in the music game, this tour offering was very junior. Stage setup was basic, lighting was basic, costumes were glittery, but basic, choreography was basic, the sound production, basic.... See where I'm going with this? Nothing was outstanding or spectacular. Meek Mill was on and then off the stage. The line up of opening acts were nothing overly special, with the exception of Rae Sremmurd, who put on a decent set. In all, I was glad I only bought the cheap seats way at the back of the stadium.

Nicki is a DIVA in her own mind

    by LMB1 on 2015-08-21Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Concert starts at 7pm with 2 1/2 hours of crappy amateur acts. Nicki finally starts at 9:35 pm, sings four songs then her boyfriend takes the stage again with his noise and profanity. Then she comes back and lulls us to sleep with some ballads at which point I left. I have been to 100's of concerts and this is the first I ever walked out on. What an utter waste of my time and money. Do yourself a favor and skip this one!

    Nicki Minaj killed it!

by yankicanuk on 2015-08-21Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Nicki put on a great show. Plus all of the openings acts were amazing. It seemed like everyone was truly happy to be there. Definitely would recommend seeing the tour or any of the preformed involved.

    Nicki is worth it!

    by MissChris01 on 2015-08-20Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I have been to a lot of different concerts. From Janet Jackson to Nine Inch Nails to Jay-Z. I was very excited to see Nicki Minaj live, I have never seen a female rapper in concert before. I have to say NICKI rocked it! Very entertaining show!! The sound was great, Nicki sounded and looked great, the dancers and opening acts were good as well. Over all EXCELLENT show NICKI MINAJ!

by VickyG on 2015-08-19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

This was one of my favorite shows! The performance by Nicki Minaj was excellent - both singing and dancing. I also enjoyed the hip hop dancing, rap music by Meek Mills and d-j music before Nicki Minaj finally arrived. I had good floor seats, and the crowd was fun, but wish I sat closer to the stage.

    Rap Queen

by arsavink on 2015-08-19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Nicki was amazing. She sang and rapped live and kept the crowd hyped. The only downfall was that her headset mic seemed to not be working properly and it took the sound guys to get the levels right (didn't they do a sound check?) Overall it was totally worth it and she is such an amazing performer!
