Delightful, Joyful

I have seen him live in Oakland CA., in Rome Italy, in Chicago IL and now in Detroit MI. Each time with different accompaniment, but always the consumate entertainer. His music is never stale and his incorporation of African (perhaps Yoruba) incantations and rhythms always speaks to my ancestral heart. The only pity was that the venue was too small for his talent, in my opinion. His violin accompanist, Yilian Canizares was an amazing discovery for me as was his Venezuelan percussionist Ovalles. My question to him post-show was when is he going to perform in Toronto or any other Canadian city? That would be a blast, I wouldn't miss!
