  • One direction was worth the wait

    by hailey3claire on 2014-08-05Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

One direction was by far one of the best concerts I've seen! Their singing was on point and their opening act did a great job at pumping everyone up. The only thing I ca come plain about would be the wait between 5sos and one direction. After waiting 45 minutes the concert experience didn't change but I found myself a couple times getting annoyed because that could have been extra time that we'd be seeing them. I also found that the bass was way too high. The songs that I didn't know the lyrics to were unrecognizable because even with the bass so high you wouldn't wing it. Other than that all I can say was the Rogers centre staff, ticket master, one direction and 5sos did an amazing job

  • Good for tweeners, insanely loud

    by Lahr1977 on 2014-08-05Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Took my 11 year old niece, who is a big fan. Both One Direction and Five Seconds of Summer put on a good show, playing to the audience and repeatedly saying how grateful they were to fans for their careers. The event was well organized with videos in between acts to entertain the crowd. However the sound was insanely loud, even factoring the tweener screaming into account. Hands down the loudest concert I have ever been to in my life, and I have been to many! My decibel app clocked it as 110 decibles at one point. Completely unnecessary. Thankfully we received an email from the venue a few days before the event recommending that we bring earplugs.

  • Not impressed

by icingflowers on 2014-08-05Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Group came out an hour after opening number and I didn't think they were into concert. Random graphics on big screen instead of the group which was disappointing as I couldn't see the group on stage.

  • One Direction - Parents Lounge

by searle on 2014-08-05Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I took both of my daughters to the concerts, one on Friday August 1st and the second one on Saturday August 2nd, 2014 - both concerts were exceptional. Each of my daughters got to take a friend and I stayed in the parents lounge where I had a great time listening to the music.

  • Made my daughter happy

by DaintyM on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the concert was great. The sound wasn't as good as it could be. That would be a Rogers Center issue tho. My daughter was thrilled to see them in person.

  • SO GOOD

by Elsey on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

You can tell that 1D really put a lot of effort into making it the best concert it could be. They sounded perfect and really kept the crowd moving. The stage was massive and the floor seats gave a good view of all of it. Massive TV's showed the entire concert so any seat would have a 'close view' of the solo singer at the time. Overall, the best concert I have ever been to and one of the best nights of my life. I am a huge 1D fan and I would tell anyone to go see the concert because you get to see them as they really are and its great. I would love to go again anyday, for the rest of my life.

  • BEST DAY EVER

by AnonymouslyHarry on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time going to a one direction concert. It took forever to convince my mom to let me go and when she finally bought me the tickets i literally cried. August 1st is probably and will be the best day of my life. Im not even exaggerating.

  • 1D was great!

    by helenka1967 on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

1D put on a great show although i felt that the concert was a bit short. Could have been longer.Venue was not the greatest. Acoustics did not sound good. If they played at ACC, it would have been far more superior sound. All in all it was a good concert. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great show! One Direction put on an amazing show, they are very talented. The opening band '5 Seconds of Summer' put on a great show too. I would Definitely see both of these bands again!

  • So much fun!

by Anonymous on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 14 year old cousin to see One Direction on Friday and I think I had almost as much fun as see did! (Minus the tears of joy) The group was very fun and put on a great performance. They sang all of their popular songs and really got the crowd going. They also sounded the same live as they do on the radio which is always nice.

  • Wow

by MertM on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

These boys really know how to put on a show. Was very exciting and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. Very great entertainers. The venue was perfect.

  • by SamandFam on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent Concert! We were in section 535 row 19 and they were pretty good seats ... we saw the majority of the stage (just up top centre we couldn't see) and had a great time! Only disappointment was the length of the concert, was hoping for a full 2 hours of One Direction!

  • by Anonymous on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome.... Simply Awesome The boys were fantastic, though I couldn't take very good pictures, I could see very well, The only problem was a lot of echoing, but it was one of the best concerts I've been to

  • One Direction - a concert to remember

by Anonymous on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My daughters had an unbelievable time at the One Direction Concert. Not only did One Direction deliver, the opening act 5 Seconds of Summer were a solid act.The energy of the stadium was amazing the safety precautions in place were well considered. Rogers Centre provided a parent lounge as well. This was wonderful for me and other parents who were travelling from out of town
