  • 1D concert just ok

    by MamaTrish13 on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Been to the 1D concert at Staples Centre year and in comparison this year's concert was just ok. It felt rushed not a whole lot of audience interaction. The stage layout specifically the runway part was not the best design for other floor seating audience. It didn't cover very much audience vision. The placement of the second stage was still to far for majority of floor and lower bowl seating.

  • ONE DIRECTION - BEST SHOW EVER

    by MandyTommo91 on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

These concerts were my second and third times seeing One Direction live and they never cease to amaze me. Absolutely incredible show! From beginning to end, we were on our feet, singing, dancing and cheering. From the song choices to the special effects and their amazing voices to how much fun they were clearly having, I can honestly say that they are the best band to see live!! Massive love and thanks to my 5 boys!!!

Crappy Seats we were too high up couldn't enjoy the show. Would have been better if we were closer. It sounded good. Make sure when you buy tickets don't say cheapest ones you get a pole in front of you.

I bought 2 Party Package Vips to this show where we had AMAZING front row to the runway stage seats. However, the vip part of the tickets was NOT worth it whatsoever. The package included a "pre party" which we had high expectations for seeing the price we paid, but this event was a group of girls sitting around tables eating chips and HIGHLY not worth it. The concert afterwords was fantastic and the boys are truly talented, an unforgettable night. But sadly, I do not recommend purchasing the vip tickets.

  • Amazing.

They put on a really good show. I was excited to see both bands and I was not disappointed. I got a better view from the seats than I had expected and I wish that I had brought my good camera! Would go again for sure!

  • Unforgettable night!

I don't think words can even how much fun I had at this concert. I'm 22, and this experience has been the best thing I've ever done in my whole entire life. From counting down every day from the time I bought the tickets to the seconds before they started the concert I had an imagination of how this concert would be. They completely went above and beyond those expectations. Absolutely blown away..

My kids dreams came true the night of this concert. The boys were amazing, talented and excellent entertainers. Overall the show exceeded my expectations and left my kids with tears of pure joy.

Took my daughter to the concert and although the boys sounded great and it was fun to see them, I can't give a rating of 5 stars for a couple of reasons. 5 Seconds of Summer came on at 7pm and played for 45 minutes. They were rather boring because they pretty much anchor themselves to one spot and don't move. So unless you're a huge fan to begin with, there isn't much entertainment to watch. 1D did not come out until 9 which was ridiculous. We waited an hour and 15 mins with no other entertainment just music playing. They should either have more opening acts or begin the show at 8 so there isn't such a waste of time for the fans. We had amazing seats (front row at the end of the catwalk), and although my daughter was thrilled to see them up close, the biggest disappointment came when we realized that there was NO interaction with the fans at all. I saw Bieber there and the perimeter around the catwalk was close enough that you could reach over the bar and he would shake hands with the fans. The perimeter this time was atleast 4-5 feet. There was stairs right in front of us from the stage and one of the security guards told us they come down but they never did. The cost of the seats for around the perimeter of the catwalk is so outrageous that I could not believe they did not interact at all. Rogers Centre is not a good venue for concerts. It is too big and very wide so even if you are sitting in the stands closest to the stage, the artists still look like small specks because you are still so far away. The ACC is a much better venue for seating. . One other note, we could almost forget that Zayn and Louis were there. They literally just seemed to be there, especially Zayn, not sure what's going on with that.....Overall, the concert was great just because of who they were and they sounded really good, however, the interaction just isn't there like other artists do which really surprised me with this band who usually seems so fan-oriented. I hope that isn't changing.

  • One direction best concert ever!

    by 5SOSlover on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

When I went and saw one direction on Friday August 1st 2014 not only did they put on an amazing show but their opening 5 seconds of summer were also amazing! I loove both 5SOS and 1D and highly recommend anyone who is fans of both bands to go and see this show live! It was sooo awesome I loove how like after every single that one direction did they stopped and took some time to thanks all of their fans and to tell them how grateful and appreciative they r to their fans and how supportive their fans have been over the past 4 years that they have been a band:) over all I think that zayn Malik,Niall horan,Louis Tomlinson,Liam Payne and Harry styles AKA one direction put on one hell of a show and I highly recommend anyone even if they r not a fan of the band to go and see what an awesome show these 5 young boys from the untied kingdom can put one!:) I'm a direction for life!:)<3

Great Show, wish they did more choreography instead of just running around the stage and asking if people are enjoying the show. Our seats were too far from the stage, could barely see the performers and since their background video did not always show them but rather other images pretty disappointing.

Great concert! Too many people outside of stadium afterwords though, too many people with little and young children. Should be age restriction to 10 so they don't get trampled

This concert was a dream come true for my daughter and her best friend. We were in the 500 level at Roger's Centre, but we could see everything and had a perfect view of the entire stage and catwalk. There was so much energy in the building that it vibrated right through us. The screens were big enough to see the boys up close, and they used the whole area to their full advantage. The end of the catwalk ended up raising so the boys were lifted high. The graphics that were then displayed on the sides of the platform were fun and 'clean'. I appreciated the appropriateness of the concert given the age range that was in attendance. As a mom of a serious Directioner, I would go to see 1D any time! Thanks for coming to Toronto :)

  • 1D my daughter's fave band

by SeaofCyn on 2014-08-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

She's 13 and she loved it. Says 5SOS were great, too. I bought these tix for her in early December. Waited a lotta months for the show date, too many, in fact. But she went and she enjoyed it.

I flew myself and my daughter from NS to Toronto for the concert. Was worth every penny to see her face and the experience. The crowd was amazing. The concert was unbelievable. I wish I had bought tickets for both nights

Great show! Loved how they didn't "perform" They put on a performace, but it was laid back, fun and entertaining. I thought you were able to get to know them instead of watching a set dance. They sang, talked and made jokes. They interacted with the audience! Can't wait until they come back.
