Excellent venue. The band was great. Great interaction with the crowd. Made my daughters evening and in her words "best concert ever". I would have paid a million dollars to see that look on her face again! Seats where excellent, venue staff amazing. All round fantastic night and well worth the travel.
One direction put on a great show! I took my 2 daughters (13 & 41/2) It was my youngest daughters very first concert ever and Harry Styles made it the most memorable we will always remember! Shortly after the concert started he spotted my lil girl & then had security get earplugs for her to block out the noise! Throughout the show he would come back and smile & wave to her! When it started to rain he came & asked her how she was making out & she gave a thumbs up, so he smiled & gave her a thumbs up! My oldest daughter was holding her later on and he then again came over and said to my oldest daughter "I like your handbag" lol ( her baby sister) and later told my youngest he liked her jumpsuit ( outfit) at the end of the show he tossed a tshirt to her but the young lady beside my daughter grabbed it mid air. All n all it was great! Harry Styles is awesome & we thank him for making it very memorable for us! My oldest daughter will never forget that one as Harry is her favorite!
I have been to a lot of concerts in my life and this was by far the best concerts I have been to!! So amazing to finally see them in a city that is close to me (6 hour drive later but totally worth it!) after being a fan for 5 years!!
The boys were amazing ! Everything about that night was amazing ! I waited four years to see and it everything I could have asked for ! It was rain that night but boys keep the showing and made it worth staying in the rain ! Not that I would have left but they kept going and made jokes about a oh no moment ! Louis did a word change during Girl Almighty ! Harry sang happy birthday and layed on the floor looking all sexy ! Niall and his laugh ! All the boys sounded amazing ! If you get a chance to see the boys go !
We were so impressed with the 1D show in CommonWealth Stadium! The band was so gracious and respectful to their fans... it was an amazing time for our entire family. Would watch them again anytime! Well worth the money spent!
Cannot even begin to describe how amazing this perfomance was. We've been waiting for several years for One Direction to finally play a show close enough to travel to, and it was definitely worth the wait. They were so involved with the crowd, all the vocals were spot on, and they made use of the catwalk and second stage the entire evening, despite the rain that was on and off throughout most of the show.
My Daughter has waited 4-years for 1D to perform close to Calgary, I promised her that if they ever came we would go - Edmonton is close enough. For an outdoor stadium the venue was great - long line ups to get in and out and for t-shirts but overall was great. My daughter and her two best friends left with big smiles and were dancing the whole night. I was even asked how long they played for as my daughter felt that it was not a very long show (she's only 8) not realizing that she enjoyed the show so much the time went by so fast it felt like they had only just started the show. Hopefully they will stop in Calgary next time!!
They spent a lot of time out on the catwalk, Super Awesome! - I'm not sure how the front row felt about that, having to turn their head around to watch them...
I have seen many concerts in my life, and this is probably one of the BEST so far. I took my 14 year old and we had a blast. 1D interacted with the crowd, told some jokes, and wow can those boys sing. I would definitely pay to see them again, worth every penny!!
I went there to accompany my teenager but to my surprise I ve enjoyed it. They are awesome!
It was the greatest . I was not impressed with the comments on Twitter that Edmonton did not deserve the concert. I have been to 5 of there concerts and they were all fantastic
I loved it. Seeing them for the first time after being a fan for many years was unforgettable. I enjoyed the entire concert. I really hope they come back for more shows. I will definitely be there.
The concert was everything I wanted and more. The boys sang their hearts out and genuinely looked like they were having a good time. They seemed to really enjoy being together and performing. It was great to see. They played on through the rain and made numerous jokes about it. I still have songs stuck in my head days later.
One Direction was incredible live. I had been waiting a long time to see them and I have no complaints. There was a long break between the opening act and when the boys came out, but that gave us more time to buy snacks and merch. The whole night was a wonderful experience and the boys didn't let the rain stop them. I had a wonderful birthday with One Direction
Concert was amazing! My teenage daughter said it was the best day of her life. Although, the venue, Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton was awful! Have never been to a more unorganized event in my life!! Once we actually made it to our seats (took about 2 hours!) and the concert started (thankfully One Direction waited until everyone made it in!) it was amazing!
One direction was awesome. But they should of had more bands playing before they came out at 9:00. We sat there from 7:00 and one band played for an hour and then just videos for another hour how boring.
We had pretty awful seats, which I bought for $80 each Oct 2014!! wasn't happy to see them on sale on Groupon for $20 but that's the gamble you take I guess. Anyway, once we got acclimatized to our seats, my 2 girls were really excited to see the band. We didn't even make it to the first act, as I took my 4 year old and didn't want to her to expire too early. When the boys came out my oldest started crying and that made my night, photo went on Facebook. The guys did their thing, sang all their songs, interacted with the crowd to a small degree, too many "How are you Edmonton" though! and gave us a really good solid concert. The rain put a little dampner on it, but we sat through it and definitely got what we wanted out of the concert. Would I sit in those seats again? no thank you! would I see 1D again, yes we would.
Thank you for making my two girls so happy. They had a fantastic time. 1D was everything they hoped for. The boys did a super job! So glad we live in the best city of Canada!! Thank you!!
I have waited 4 years to see 1D and when I heard that they were coming here, it was honestly like a dream come true. I never thought I would I would see them and it was better than I could have asked for. The guys looked amazing as always and they put on an incredible performance!!!! I love you One Direction.
I love the boys and their music and was so excited to go see them live. After attending other concerts I would have to say that there going to need to start performing as well as singing if they want to stay around for a long time! Walking around stage just isn't enough to blow people away when the competition is higher! Only Niall is making an effort to play the guitar whilst singing!
