Honest Guy's Review of One Direction: Concert
by Anonymous on 2014-08-15Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5I can't really say much about the opening act from the band, 5 seconds of summer, since I had only heard of one song from them on MTV beforehand, and didn't know any of their songs. But otherwise, they certainly fit well as a opener for One Direction, being young guys themselves, and they almost look like a boy band
As for One Direction themselves, it was a pretty awesome experience. I can't say, I know all of their songs, but the ones I do know, they sang very well. I can't deny that I found myself nodding my head along when the energy in the concert was pounding. It's nice that they gave some queues to how they love Toronto, and there were sections where they let the audience fill in some of the lyrics of their songs.
Be warned, it gets loud in there, especially because the audience is FILLED is pre-adolescent girls, and their moms and dads, but mostly little girls. Your gonna hear a lot of screaming. Bring a good camera if you wanna video record, cause your cellphone will probably get muffled sound like mine.
You definitely need a good seat though, because although they mention over the sound system that everyone should stay in their seats, so everyone can enjoy the show, almost every little girl was standing up, for the whole show-I might add.
If your a guy, and you wanna bring your girlfriend cause she's a fan, I'd say, go for it.
