Ottawa Senators History

The original Ottawa Senators were founded in 1883 and were one of the founding teams of the NHL during its early years, winning 11 Stanley Cup Championships between 1903 and 1927. When the NHL started to expand to the U.S., the Senators were sold to St. Louis and became the Eagles, but the team shuttered after one year. The second incarnation of the Senators joined the NHL in 1992. The Senators have since gone on to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs 16 times.

I was quite disappointed that both teams only had rookie players and not any of their big name players. The game was good, but for the price I paid for the tickets I expected that there would have been a few of the better players for each team.

I was quite disappointed with the tickets I purchased for my kids, they were the most expensive ones,I gave my 11 year old daughter these for her birthday,I purchased behind the bench tickets ,they were behind the Senators only for the team to put there hockey sticks right in front of them, not only on top of that the coach stood beside the sticks.Otherwise the game would have been awesome.Too bad I wasted 300.00 for behind the bench tickets.
