About

When Mark Van Doren, the American poet and teacher, wrote his famous work, "Our Lady Peace" in 1943, he couldn't have imagined the concept of rock'n'roll, let alone that a Canadian rock group would adopt his title for their name. Consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Steve Mazur and Jason Pierce. Our Lady Peace is one of the most successful bands in Canada today, one of only 11 artists with Diamond Certification in Canadian history. The band has sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won four JUNO Awards and ten Much Music Video Awards - one of the most MMVA's ever awarded to any artist or group.

  • Energy!

by PETEE on 2009-07-20ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 4 out of 5

Great group with a good set list to sing along to. Energy through-out the performance and they really know how to get the crowd involved. Great light show and excellent performance.

  • Wicked concert

by Courtl on 2009-07-20ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 4 out of 5

The concert was very good. The rain made it a little miserable outside but still a good concert. Hedley was very good. I liked how they included the audience a bit more than the other groups. Theory of a dead man was awesome, they also included the audience.

  • headley was unforgettable

  • Our Lady Peace stole the show

    by Andrew1291 on 2009-07-17ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 5 out of 5

The whole show had a number of big names. the opening band Parlor Mob was the type of band that made you go on the internet and listen to there music. Bowskill had a couple of good tunes, ofcourse a memorible guitar player, but hogged the stage a little much which made his music a little overplayed. followoing him was Blue Rodeo and Theory of a Deadman. Personally I'm more of a Theory fan but Blue rodeo put on a good show, you could tell by there skill that they were a long and running band. going into the concert Theory was the band i wanted to see the most however my attitude changed at the end of the night. Going into the show I wasn't a big fan of jacob Hoggard, however seeing the show he can perform with his band hedley made me realize that he can put on a good show. At the end of the night after standing for hours upon end to the point that you can barely keep yourself on your feet the Main headline came on, Our Lady Peace. After seeing the show they put on I've comepletely become obsessed with them. The way Raine sings his music is like no other I've ever seen. He truly stole the show that night...

  • Great concert/ crappy weather.

by CassieMay on 2009-07-16ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 3 out of 5

The concert overall had a great line up. Hedley was amazing as usual.even though their gear was stolen the night before in Quebec, theory was nice enough to let them use there gear. however Jacob was drunk and pucked on the stage twice. Theory of a dead man was great, however because of the horrible weather i left just before our lady peace went on stage. I did however hear that they as well were amazing. It was a great experience.

  • Fun times!

by Tantan on 2009-07-16ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 4 out of 5

Fun times! Blue Rodeo and Theory of a Dead Man were awesome! I'm not a Hedley fan, so I listened to them from the Beer Tent! Our Lady Peace was good, but Raine forgot a few of the words to his older songs...a bit disappointed with that! Overall, a good time! : )

OLP, the sound was way too loud, and poor quality. The band was good

  • Hedley was great despite using another bands equip

by Tagteam on 2009-07-16ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I went and had a great time. It rained a little, but it didn't take away from the overall fun. Great lineup of bands. Easy to find and we were able to get a room at a local motel, therefore making it really enjoyable. The only issue I would have is because I have a bad back, difficult for me to walk a long ways. They weren't prepared or had did anything to accommodate for disabilities. Once again had a great time

  • Big Music Fest Belleville an awesome experience.

    by Butterfly14 on 2009-07-16ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 5 out of 5

Big Musice Fest in Belleville with headlining acts like Our Lady Peace, Theory of a Deadmand and Hedley was an unforgettable experience. The bands put on an amazing show and kept the wait times between bands to a min. Even though it rained the whole day everyone that attended this event were in good spirits.

  • Positively Rediculous!

by Tangomannn on 2009-07-16ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 5 out of 5

I've been an OLP fan for some time now and never seen them live, but when I did, they absolutely blew my mind! The rest of the crowd that was there, in Belleville, would probably agree with me. Thousands of us went crazy for the hour+ that OLP rocked! I hope they're there next year!

  • Damp weather, Hot Bands

by Gatorr on 2009-07-15ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 4 out of 5

got to the fest around 3, stayed till the very end after 11. I mainly went for TOAD but loved all the bands, Well put together but damm long lines for the beer after 5:00, So I drank early. Cheers

  • Poor venue set-up

by Lezzy on 2009-07-15ZWICKS PARK - BELLEVILLERating: 1 out of 5

Because we like to typically have a few drinks at a concert, we unfortunately were divided off into a fenced section, which given the proximity to the stage, the complete show was barely audiable. In addition, the bands could barely be seen because of the distance the drinking area was situated from the stage. To give a review of each band performance would be unfair.
