Pan Am Athletics Tickets

The evebt was so enjoyable as Canada won many medals in various events. The TTC express bus was very prompt and easy to find from the subway as there was a lot of signage and volunteers to help. However the drop off area for the bus at YOR was quite a walk from the actually seating area of the venue. Better signage around the drop off or information provided by volunteers for accessible karts/golf buggies to get closer would have been helpful as one of our party has difficulty walking long distances. The seats were right behind the flag poles for the medal ceremonies which was great and the sound was much better here. The portable washrooms at these seats were closed for cleaning throughout the whole evening which meant a long walk to the other location or asking for access the the accessible washrooms. The volunteers were excellent and courteous and always had a smile.

The Athletics event itself was great the venue was new, clean and easily accessible. The seats we had were great, right alone the 100m home stretch. The parking system however really needs to be accessed. It was ridiculous. It took over half an hour to get into the parking lot from the road. as they had only 2 attendants and the barriers going up and down after each car. This caused us to be late for the event. There were plenty of parking spots available once inside the lot. There definitely needs to be a better system should the bid for the Olympics be successful. Better signage around the area of parking for accessible karts to get closer to the venue/seating area would have been helpful. Or is the volunteers had been able to inform you where to wait/go to get the karts.

Watching the finals of the 100 m Mens and 4oo m hurdles was amazing The stands were full atmosphere was electric So proud of our Canadien athelics.

Really enjoyed the morning session seeing Javelin pole vaulting medal finals and all the track heats 100 meters Men and women and especially the 400 m hurdles lots of buzz in stands

My friend and I sat at the 600 area of the stadium and 2 row. They were really good seats and we were able to see the athletes. It was a bit hard to see the Javelin and long jump events as they were way on the other side. It would have been better if they had a bigger projecter screen or even one of the other side. The screen was quite small for the size of the stadium and event. During the medal ceremonies you couldn't tell by the raising of the flags who the bronze and silver winners were; they were almost the same height. Anyway, overall it was worth every penny spent watching it live.

Fantastic value for money. There were numerous events going on throughout the evening and the atmosphere was out of this world. Again, the volunteers outdid themselves, courteous beyond expectations.

Very well organised meet. I had a great section, just under the VIP section. I was also directly in front medal presentation area, so I had great pictures taken. The area I was sitting in was not in direct sunlight. I twas all shade, so caps or umbrellas were not necessary

Great that the route brought the marathoners past the Lakeshore grandstand about 5 or 6 times during the marathon....but once they left the area and headed toward High Park, there was no live feed to the screens set up on Lakeshore. Spent most of the event looking at a still screen which provided limited updates. Would have been nice to get the live feed at the splits. CBC didn't provide live streaming of the event....frustrating. Needs to be changed if Toronto wants to host the Olympics!

We had a great time and our Canada and Trinidad flags were continually used, since both countries won medals throughout the evening. I would have liked the food to be closer since it was quite a treck from our seats to get to it. Also, I was surprised that the washroom facilities were portable. Otherwsie a throroughly enjoyable experience.
