    Great venue, great time

by Getinvolved on 2015-07-19HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

Happy to attend a soccer game at the CIBC Stadium. We got same day tickets and they were great. Even though there was no scoring there was lots to cheer about. The diverse backgrounds of the spectators was refreshing and so friendly. The ticket takers and volunteers were welcoming too. Even the walk through the neighbourhood to the car was a delight. The temperature was in the low 20s so we couldn't ask for more. Proud to be a Hamiltonian!

    Pan am soccer matches

by pizzagoestoconcert on 2015-07-19HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

Excellent soccer events, just wish they had shown replays on jumbo torn TV, they did not show any for some reason.

    Football foul

by thenaz on 2015-07-19HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

Unfortunately we follow the signs to Hamilton to the PanAm venue but instead of going directly to the field, we were instructed to park at McMaster University and then had to take a school bus for a 20 minute (past the exit on the 403) to the venue - and then portage to get to the stadium. This meant that we missed all the scoring in the first game which was a 4-0 for Brazil - a team we wanted to see. It might have been better had we been informed of this and then we might have tried to park closer to the stadium and walked or taken a cab.

    Go Canada Go!

by Cheapseats on 2015-07-18HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

We have been enjoying the football matches in Hamilton (when Canada plays!) - have found many of the volunteers to be very helpful and friendly. The only downside continues to be the concession stands - long waits, not enough windows open, selling out of popular items (popcorn!), closing concession stands before half time of second game - from a hospitality and customer service viewpoint it continues to make no sense! Very surprised that this would be allowed to go on considering this is making a name for our new stadium.

    Great organization

by Kerrion on 2015-07-18HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

We used the bus from Mohawk ,everything went perfect , but do not sit in the back seat with Hamilton road bumps , arrival , and security process very smooth , Seats were good , field very spectacular . Very interesting to see live play , and all the fine points. On the down side , attendance was not large , but the concessions starting running out of product virtually immediately , no apple juice , and by mid way through the intermission they pretty well were out of everything . we left early to get food .

    Great venue great value!

by MommaJax on 2015-07-17Cibc pan am stadium - Hamilton

Great price for two games! The stadium is beautiful. Very proud to have that stadium in my hometown. I was disappointed with the operator of the jumbotron....really? No replays? I think I've seen the logo enough after the first two times....only complaint

Tim Horton's stadium - Pan Am soccer

by RodneyJ on 2015-07-17Tim Horton's stadium - Hamilton

Watched 2 sets of matches this week (men's preliminaries)...stadium has good sight lines and is reasonably well organised. Food concessions - not great service. Customer ahead of me was given a hot dog with a mouldy bun...manager never apologized but asked if customer wanted a replacement hot dog. No! Another time the cashier forgot to collect the money from a customer then abandoned the checkout for 10 minutes while he ran after the customer. Line was ignored for the 10 minutes and we could not move as other lines too long and we asked and expected someone else to jump on. Parking reasonable and all in all a great venue. Washrooms well maintained. Enjoyed watching Brazil. Fans were well behaved and in good spirits.

Transportation is a major issue with soccer in Ha,

by Ifuletmeplay on 2015-07-17HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

The games were fine & fun! The stadium ran out of food so inbetween games there were no hotdogs or pizza left! There was still an entire second game left! Very poor planning. There was no shuttle to the stadium either, we had yo take a GO bus, connect to a city bus and then walk?! i have been to a wolrd cup, 2 Olympics and one other Pan Am games and I have never needed to take a city bus with people getting around for their normal errands! The return was even worse. It took 3 hours on the GO train to get to union station! they did not have an express train and one regular so thousands of fans going to union were forced on the train that took 3 hours to get to Toronto. I would not recommend going to soccer events.

    A day I'll never forget!!!

by IndiraToronto on 2015-07-16HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

We had so much fun in the games!!! We even took pictures with the Panam mascot. The CAN v BRA game was the most excited one, loved it. The stadium was nice, you can get burgers, pizza, fries, pop.. Parking was free but we had to drive to McMaster University and then take these shuttle busses (admission fee included in your ticket).

Make the effort to see some Pan Am soccer

by Masterplan on 2015-07-16HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

This was a great even and an excellent value. 2 matches for one ticket, kids half price. Top-notch soccer at a great venue, it was a great family night out.

    Review of football game

The Panama vs Peru game was great. I was a bit disappointed with the Canada vs Brazil game due to the lack of referees.

    soccer / football question

by KimbitsII on 2015-07-15Tim Horton's Field - Hamilton

I realize this isn't a review, but a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. So....from the looks of it, the ticket lets the person watch both games. What time does the last game finish. I'm trying to book transportation, and not sure what time I need to do pick up from the field. Thanks!

Great soccer, not a great venue

by starz4me on 2015-07-15HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

The venue is very nice, love the drink holders at each seat and that you can take in your own sealed water bottles. however, line to refill was 45 minutes, food lines, as only one location on each concourse was open, way too long, missed half the soccer game. Running out of everything when you finally did get there.

    WOULD NEVER BUY AGAIN

by tiggerpooh on 2015-07-15HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

Made the mistake of buying the tickets before public transit options were confirmed. In order to get back to my house by public transit I had to leave before the Canada- Brazil game started. Not enough parking to take my car. HOPEFULLY TORONTO NEVER GETS THE OLYMPICS.

Great Game. Facility Logistics - not so great

by Burglecutt on 2015-07-15HAM-CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium - Hamilton

Football quality was good. Fan support was excellent and participation was good. Playing football on rubberized surface made for funny bounces. This did not affect those teams that played the ball on the pitch. Frequent punters suffered. Venue: Installing water stations to fill water bottles was very nice. Access and egress were really slow. Food was terrible and very basic. How hard is it to stay stocked on pizza, hotdogs, chips and chicken tenders when you know the number of tickets sold?

For my first major sporting event I was pleasantly surprised. Well worth the 25 bucks!

The sport and athletics were great. The food was terrible and expensive. It's ok if the food is costly but only if it's good. Puts the events at a subpar memory.
