    Panic! At The Disco 2011

by thisfeelingstakingover on 2011-06-17Sound Academy - Toronto

The concert: amazing. The people: not so amazing. Actually, the opposite. But it was general admission, what can you do. The last Panic! concert, at the same venue, wasn’t as bad as this time. This time there was waaaay too much moshing, resulting in everyone being completely squished together. There was barely any air, no room to dance about/jump. And also, we had a PRIME spot for Fun., but after all of the moshing we got pushed back. All that aside, the concert was great! Panic! is absolutely amazing live, I’m so glad I got to see them again. Even with all of the people in the crowd, I would definitely go again, it’s completely worth it. Brendon is. just. GORGEOUS. He has the voice of an angel. He was perfect. And Spencer looked like an angel! They had a fan blowing on him, so while he was drumming his hair was slightly swaying from the breeze-also perfection. And then of course there were a few Brendon-Dallon moments, which were so good. And Ryan was kind of mentioned indirectly, before playing Nine In The Afternoon and That Green Gentleman. At least that’s what I got from it. He said, “This is for my best friend” and also something else that I can’t quite remember. There was a good mix of all three albums, but obviously with an emphasis on Vices and Virtues. That was my awesome Panic! experience. Next time will be even better hopefully! (though it was still very, very good. Except the people in the crowd. As I said. So. Rude.) I love them so, so much.

Panic! At The Disco blew my mind!

by Spancy on 2011-06-08Sound Academy - Toronto

AMAZING show! They did a lot of new songs but many old ones too, which is great. They are amazing live, very entertaining and I never wanted it to end. The much was great and Brendon is a fantastic singer! Recommend this to anyone and everyone, wish I could go again!

    Panic is definitely back.

by SugarCelebi on 2011-06-08Sound Academy - Toronto

Panic! At the Disco has been my favourite band since their first album and they always will be. This concert helped my remember how truly amazing and talented these boys are. Though they suffered a major blow with the loss of two members, it is clear that Brendon and Spencer are perfectly capable of carrying on by themselves. Touring members Dallon Weekes and Ian Crawford managed to fill the departed members' shoes with great ease. Brendon is truly a performer, and I enjoyed watching him for every moment he was on stage. His voice is perfection, even better than the recording. I would definitely go to see them again and again and again.

    All bands we're spectacular!

by Astoria on 2011-06-08Sound Academy - Toronto

I saw Panic when they came to Toronto during their Pretty Odd tour, and this surpassed it by far. The stage design, set list and everything else was perfect. One of the best concerts I have everrrrr been to.

    Panic! At the Sound Academy

by Natalya on 2011-06-08Sound Academy - Toronto

I had the most AMAZING time. Granted, Panic has been my favourite band for years now, but this was my first time seeing the live show. Now, I love them even more. The crowd was fine for the most part besides a few very pushy people. Other than that I had a good view, and the performance was absolutely fantastic, not just by Panic but the opening bands as well!

Panic! At The Disco is FINALLY Back!!!

by ThoughtsofaLivingAtheist on 2011-06-07Sound Academy - Toronto

Man, I've missed them. Brendon was almost crying during the performance because he missed playing his music live so much. The whole audience was pretty much crying tears of joy because he was back. Panic! is just brilliant.

    Simply Amazing!

    by Misspyatt96 on 2011-06-07Sound Academy - Toronto

Quite simply, the best night ever! Not a humungous fan of Foxy Shazam, but the amazing atmosphere of the crowd helped me get past that. fun. was one of the highlights of my night, I'd only heard a few of their songs before attending but they blew me away with their intense energy and sheer talent, I think I may have a new second favourite band ;) As for Panic!, they were actually the highlight OF MY LIFE. Brendon looked amazing, and I actually think they sounded better live than on some of their album tracks. I couldn't believe the amount of just pure amazing talent he had, at first I was kind of worried, with Ryan and Jon gone, but Dallan Weekes and Ian Crawford were also AMAZING. BEST. NIGHT. EVER. Can't even describe it!! My only complaint would be the long set-up time between bands. but like I said before, that doesen't even matter because they were so good! Thanks for the amazing concert Panic!... You just made my life!

    Panic! At The Disco

    by bleepmail1 on 2011-06-07Sound Academy - Toronto

Panic was amazing, small venue so you get pretty close. Second time at Sound Academy. First time parked on street and got $30 ticket!! BUT got out fast... 2nd time parked in lot across $20 and hell to get out...If it wasn't for the parking the venue itself isn't bad. Outdoor patio with beach volleyball in the summer. Lot's of lounges for the 19+ but mosh pit is the whole venue!! The only reason to go to this venue is the bands..... if not I wouldn't go to Sound Academy.

Panic! At the Disco was amazing

by Kaitykins on 2011-06-07Sound Academy - Toronto

I loved them in concert. The vocals were amazing! The fans were hard core, and everyone was kind. The lighting and effects were wicked. The concert was more than I could have hoped. I would recommend you see them in concert. Also if you are to go, make sure you're familiar with their older songs as well as their newer ones so you can sing along with them.

Amazing band, amazing venue, amazing show. Seeing Panic! was so much fun, they were amazing live and I'll definitely want to see them again some time. The venue "The Sound Academy" was the best concert venue I've ever been to, hands down.

Panic! At The Sound Academy = Awesome.

by streetsofgold on 2011-06-07Sound Academy - Toronto

I have never seen Panic! At The Disco live before and I was a bit apprehensive prior to the concert, because two of their members left the band a few years ago, and I wasn't sure what the show would be like without them. However, I can say with confidence that they put on an excellent show. Brendon Urie was full of energy and had terrific stage presence, and he created a crowd that was full of energy as well. His voice sounds great live, and the dynamic between the band (even the "touring only" members) was playful and fun. If you are a fan, I highly recommend going to see them. The opening acts included Foxy Shazam and fun. I wasn't familiar with Foxy Shazam's music prior to the concert, but they put on a great show and they are kind of crazy live, you have to see it to understand! Fun. put on a great show as well!
