It was great. Well organized, acoustics worked for me, and the pre-mass part made everyone feel involved. If I would recommend one thing, it would be to hand event-related souvenir INSIDE the stadium (after the gates), that way people will be more receptive to receive them.
There were hundreds of seats available. People must have hoarded tickets and then not shown up? That's a shame for the people in Clark Stadium. It would have been better to start it earlier than 10:15 am. Especially when people were expected by 8:30 am. It was nice that the Pope was driven around the Stadium and kissing babies and toddlers on the forehead. I appreciated the bottled water, however would have like to know it was offered ahead of time. Perhaps, make people more aware on the news and social media about the clear bag policy too. I think for the confessions in the foyer could have been set up better, than right out in the open. I think the set up would have been better in the middle for all to see. The screens are fine, however one wants to see Pope Frances in person.

All the planning and details that were done for this event were exceptional. I would like to acknowledge all of the individuals involved for their amazing efforts and dedication to having this event run so smoothly and safe. Amazing team work to make sure that everyone was taken care of. Also thank you to all the individuals behind the scenes, police, security, volunteers, bus drivers, security, technical staff, media, ticket master, and participants from all over North America for the amazing people you are and your contribution to the Pope's visit to Edmonton.
I was excited when I heard that the Holy Father is coming to Canada for reconciliation through the efforts of the Indigenous People. I believe that seeing Pope Francis as God's representative on earth is a blessing that takes away heavy burden. The oval sides of the Commonwealth Stadium as temporary place of worship and the people from all walks of life in these trying times that you can feel their spirit are lifted higher. Thankful to be volunteer. My memories for this event are beyond imagination. To the people behind WALKING TOGETHER - hats off!
No smart phone, stadium got me ticket to scan in moments. Helpful service at gate.
The assigned parking lot was messed. No signs, people don't know where to go, line up for the bus was everywhere. And especially after the event people were scrambling to get on the bus. No line up it was very dangerous for the kids and older people.
Got the best sit during Papal visit in Edmonton. Got to see the Pope real closed . Thanks so much
The Event was Very organized, everyone knew where to go right from parking your car, taking the bus, going into common wealth. I felt Very safe and thought everything went Very smoothly.. I totally comment all those who were involved to make Papal event so successful.

Everything was just great! Hands down friendliness, most polite crowd I have ever been in! Great planning on everything…..except ETS departure on buses could have been better organized. Lots of volunteers, security, water, awesome! Glad I went.
I was fortunate to be accepted as a volunteer . I met many wonderful people and enjoyed every moment.
There was not proper information about the event or the time for the park’n’ride. With having special kids I needed more information so to plan accordingly. That was not given so unfortunately we did not attend.

It was very good to take park & ride to the stadium. Eventhough people were lined up early, Edmonton Transit were not around until exactly 7:00 am. The lineup went around in circles, but somehow a whole line went ahead and got on the first bus before the ones who were there in line for over an hour. The 2nd bus was slow in coming. Disappointed that young people quickly took the seats and let old people stand. It was great to get off the bus at the door to the stadium, so not much of a hassle. Arrived at our seats and after waiting, people slowly came in after the time limit. So many vacant seats. I could not understand why people would be greedy and grab tickets with no intention of showing up. Everything was so well organized. The volunteers did a wonderful job. Communion was served in a good orderly fashion. The choirs were great. It was a wonderful experience. At the end we left in an orderly fashion and all the buses were lined up ready to go to the designated park & ride. It was great.
