About

PAUL ZERDIN ON TOUR:

British comedian and master ventriloquist Paul Zerdin joked his way to a first-place finish on the 2015 season of America’s Got Talent, and now fans can catch his brilliant act in person. Zerdin’s sharp wit and amazing puppetry skills make for a side-splitting show full of wild characters, clever puns, and family-friendly wisecracks appropriate for fans of all ages. Whether he’s bringing hilarious puppets like bratty teen Sam or cranky old-timer Albert to life with his amazing ventriloquism skills, Zerdin does it all with seamless style and effortless ease, never missing a beat as he jumps from character to character. A veteran performer who has even made the Queen of England chuckle, Zerdin is a must-see for anyone who likes a good laugh.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

London-born Paul Zerdin caught the puppetry bug at an early age after being given a book on ventriloquism by legendary British comedian Ray Alan. During his teens he practiced throwing his voice in front of the mirror daily, eventually taking a job at a magic shop with an eye on becoming a children’s entertainer. At age 20 he landed a role as host of the Disney-produced show Rise and Shine, which paved the way for his first-place victory on Season 1 of reality TV competition The Big Big Talent Show. A string of high-profile gigs followed, including a performance for the British royal family. In 2015 he made a splash with stateside audiences as the winner of Season 10 of America’s Got Talent, a major victory that has fans dying to see him and his cast of characters on tour.

    Paul Zerdin was amazing!!!

Having seen Paul on America's Got Talent, we were anxious to see what he could do for 90 minutes, not just 90 seconds. He didn't disappoint. He exceeded our expectations. His sense of humour and timing was terrific. The way he kept the show going and his constant interaction with the audience, kept everyone in stitches, a laugh a minute. The 90 minutes just flew by. I whole heartedly recommend this show to everyone, and hope he comes back this way again!

You just wanted to hear and see more. The event was around 90 minutes long. I wished it was a little longer. Nice to view some new material that he did not use on America's Got Talent. Quite a talented person.

I can not remember the last time I laughed that hard. Paul was brilliant. As for Casino Rama "Entertainment Center" the chairs are very uncomfortable and the room was for a casino it was very blah!!!

I wasn't sure I would like this kind of act, but it was awesome. He's a fabulous entertainer and by the end you actually found yourself believing his puppets were real people. Very funny!

    soooooooo funny

Was so amazing! Just the right amount of raunchy to make it funny and enjoyable. Many entertainers feel the need for fulgaraty and it takes away from the show. Paul had just enough. Kudos! Would recommend this show and would definitely go see again

Excellent show from start to finish! Most talented ventriloquist I have ever seen! Show was about 75 minutes long, shorter than a concert but just about right for this kind of act.

Only funny 2 minutes at a time.

by bigbob77 on 2016-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia, ON

Thought Paul was great on America's Got Talent. What we saw there was hit best bits compressed into 2 minutes at a time. However, I don't find his efforts at putting a 'show' together to be good. He uses the same bits over and over to the point where they're quickly annoying. Many of his jokes have been around forever and he's just modified them slightly to fit into his act. I found myself bored and frustrated. Maybe over time he'll reach the level of a Fator or a Dunham, but his performance skills just aren't there yet.
