    Paw Patrol LIVE

by GrandmaCD on 2018-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I drove in from out of town the night before to take my 4 year old grand daughter to this presentation for her 4th birthday. She LOVES Paw Patrol and was thrilled to watch the characters come to life on stage. The characters were nice and big and very colourful. Sometimes we couldn't hear what the actors were saying because they were speaking too fast. If I couldn't pick out what they were saying, my 4 year old certainly couldn't. I think the ticket prices were VERY overpriced for a one hour show. I was expecting more for my money. I understand these little kids can't hold their attention for much longer, in which case, lower the price and have more shows. Plus, we had the misfortunate of having a very tall lady in front of us who just couldn't sit still. She kept moving from seat to seat to give her little girl the best view. There were 3 of us parents behind her who asked her to please either sit down and watch the show or leave. She just laughed at us. This was frustrating on top of paying big bucks for good seats; paying for accommodations, fuel, and food, only to have this happen. However, my grand daughter enjoyed the show but I wouldn't pay this kind of money for a kids show again.

    Kids loved it, expensive day

by Akcollins on 2018-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The kids had a great time (ages 2 & 3) the show went through adventure bay and had all the regular characters. Is was entertaining for sure. My only complaint is the cost. It was $200 just to get in the door, $25 for 3 small bottles of water and two popcorn (from a bag not fresh), $50 for souvenirs. Of course we don’t need to buy those things but they know you’re only there to make your kids happy.

A little bit short and disappointing

by Hunniebee on 2018-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Although my son enjoyed the show, I found it too short. The description said the show would run from 2pm-4pm, it ended at 3:15pm. I bought the cheapest tickets and ended up at the last row closest to the roof because the ticket prices were expensive, but I paid almost the same price when I took my son to watch Bubble Guppies and we sat close to the stage. At the end of the Paw Patrol show I took my son to the lowest level so I can a picture of him with the sign on the stage as a background, but the minute we entered the door an usher was telling us that we could not enter to take a picture. I asked just one quick picture, we were standing by the door and not even close to the stage, but she said no that they were closed. I said there were still people inside taking pictures and she said but they’re VIPs, they paid extra for that.

    Worth it

by Babbz on 2018-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Normally kids shows make me want to hurt myself in ways that involve dull spoons and eyeball removal. All the while faking enthusiasm because my little is having so much fun. Paw Patrol live however was fast paced and quick to change scenes so I did not have a chance to become irritated. My little absolutely loved it and the swag was way cheaper than Disney on Ice. If your kidlets want to go to a show this year and you don't want to torture your adult soul Paw Patrol live is a winner.

Too expensive for a family was very short.

by fraser on 2018-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

For the four of us to attend it cost $300.00 for basically 1 hour of a show. Too expensive.

Great show, both my grand-daughter and I enjoyed it. Mayor Goodway was fantastic, sounded and looked just like the tv show.

    Pleasantly entertaining

by Manny19 on 2018-03-19Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I took my grandson to Paw Patrol and he enjoyed it immensely. I was pleasantly surprised with the entertaining show, and how true to character the performers were. My 25 year old daughter came along as well and she had fun singing and dancing with my 2 year old grandson. Very fun show!

    Average production

by Lulay on 2018-03-19Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Although kids must have loved it, the production could have been better. Props could have been more thought of. Having puppeteers seen maneuvering the pups costumes confused my daughter. I hope that with the cost of the ticket, the production should have been amazing. It was not.

    Paw Patrol

by Tinkerbre on 2018-03-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Fine for under 5 year olds. “Way too short”. Took intermission after only 30 minutes. So we could go buy expensive gifts. Would give better rating if show was a lot longer

Great entertainment! Very appealing for kids to see their favourite pups! At times a bit loud for younger kids but well worth it!

    Displays

by TIGGEROO on 2018-03-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

First time at the Jubill. Beautiful building. My 2 year old grandson enjoyed it. Base very loud for me. Over took singing. No displays or standup or even posters to take a picture with kids.
