    Just okay

by Tammy on 2020-01-22Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I paid over 400 for our tickets. That was for me and my 2 yrs old daughter. I didn't care about the cost. I just wanted my daughter to have the best experience possible. We sat in the 3rd row on the floor with VIP tickets. My daughter enjoyed the show. Afterwards the VIPs were taken to another room, where they had toys for the kids to play with, books, and the kids could get their picture taken with ryder, chase and skye. I just felt very rushed. By the time we got over the Ryder for a picture he was gone. He was maybe in the room for 15 mins. And my daughter doesn't walk fast. She was able to get her picture taken with skye and chase thankfully. She didn't have time to play with the toys and she only looked at one book before we were expected to get out of there. She was disappointed that she didnt get the play. I wish they gave us more time to just gang out and enjoy our time there. Not worth the VIP price.

    Pups Ahoy!

by KD on 2020-01-22Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I took my family of four to the Paw Patrol Live - Pirate Adventure last weekend and we had a great time. I have two children, aged 3 and 5. We purchased the VIP package and sat in row A on the first level. The seats were FANTASTIC! We received a lanyard upon entry and once the performance was over, we were to meet with the rep and head to the VIP room. The show was perfect length. The songs were catchy and some were familiar. The costumes and setting were awesome. We were, however, surprised that the pups weren't costumes, but large puppets, and you could see the people who worked them. Not a HUGE deal, but the kids were a little confused. Swag was expensive but we got the light up wands and the kids were happy. Food choices were limited to very sugary choices. We would have loved popcorn and a drink. The VIP experience was not worth the extra money, other than the great seating, in my opinion. We only got to stand with Ryder and the pups for a quick photo. There was no real interaction. I would say that the gift should be a stuffed toy or one of the wands upon arrival to the show. The bag was cute but the red dye got all over our clothes. Overall, the day was fun. I wouldn't spend the extra money just to stand for a photo.

Paw Patrol could have been better

by CKCH on 2020-01-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

My husband and I didn’t enjoy it at all. Feel like it could have been better. Should have been a bigger stage for all the vehicles and characters. On a side note drinks were ridiculously overpriced!

    Bad bad really bad

by Bonj on 2020-01-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

For the price that was charged for these tickets, it was a rip off. Expected way more. Shame on you praying on small children to line your pockets. The junk they were selling was way over priced and basically garbage. Beware Paw Patrol fans

    Excellent

by Pamela on 2020-01-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The live performance was excellent, even for the adult in me, Hee hee. The characters matching their voices to the real characters was exceptional. Acting was pretty good as well. Overall, great job!!

It was a little too much talking and less action . My 2.5 years old girl didn’t enjoy it but my other two over 4 years old did.

    Paw Patrol disappointmnet

by K. on 2020-01-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The venue was mostly empty. The only full section was 2nd balcony. Perhaps if the ticket prices for a toddler show had been more realistic more people could have enjoyed and the area close to the stage would have been full. Very disappointed with the way the event was priced and offered.

I took my 3 granddaughters to see Paw Patrol

by GrandmaD on 2020-01-20Canalta Centre - Medicine Hat

The girls absolutely loved it! They loved dancing in front of the stage. They were also thrilled to get their picture taken with the pups.I also have to give kudos to the lady that was in charge of handing out the lanyards and ushering all the kids up to see the pups after the show. She was amazing! My only complaint would be how much everything cost at the show. $15 for a lemonade?

    good

by kelli on 2020-01-20Canalta Centre - Medicine Hat

At first I had tears in my eyes because I could see the joy and excitement in my 4 year old’s eyes as one of her favourite tv shows came to life right in front of her! I found it difficult to hear specific words and sometimes I found the singing went on a little longer than it needed to be. But otherwise it was a pretty good production. Souvenirs and treats were terribly expensive, especially given the cost of tickets to get into the venue, so that was a bit disappointing. But overall well worth it.

    Paw Patrol delivered

by Pernie on 2020-01-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Our family of 4 really enjoyed the Great pirate adventure by Paw patrol. It is well done and entertaining. Very good actors and the kids were mesmerized through out the whole show. The only negative feedback I can give is that the lighting throughout the play was seriously bright and too much! Otherwise a good experience!

    BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS!

by L. M. on 2020-01-15Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My grandkids had a great time, they are 5 and 3. The atmosphere was festive and the kids were pumped... then came the requests for merchandise... OMG $15 for cotton candy and $15 for lemonade (albeit it was in a plastic cup) but that is criminal. sorry, I will sneak food in if I have the pleasure of taking them again

    Entertaining Show - Ridiculous Merch

by Tanya on 2020-01-15Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Providing feedback on the full experience so that it hopefully helps others: 1. Snacks and food were weak / not a lot of selection...we thought we wouldn't be allowed external food so planned to purchase there, but it looks like there was not a restriction on this so...bring snacks to the show! 2. Having an 8 foot tall dad in front of you or your toddler and making the view difficult is impossible to avoid - fortunately the Jube had booster seats (YAY!) - unfortunately they had a LIMITED amount and so we had to make do without despite our pint sizer. 3. There was no program indicating intermission time, break, etc. We were a bit in the dark. 4. The music and performance were GREAT! Good songs, funny, entertaining, great visuals - our kiddo loved it. Cast was exceptional - engaged (even the 'dog operators'), dynamic, animated - it made a huge difference. The whole thing from a performance perspective was very well done and perfectly balanced. This is, we hope, a catalyst to a lifelong appreciation for performing arts we hope to instill in our daughter. 5. We like the diversity Paw Patrol offers as a book (having a female POC as the Mayor, etc.) - we were happy to see that the cast was equally diverse. 6. My biggest issue here...merchandise. Like you KNOW kids want everything, and the prices were - wait for it - MORE EXPENSIVE THAN DISNEYLAND EVEN WITH THE CURRENCY EXCHANGE. This was ridiculous. I will blow money on souveniers for the kiddo even if they're expensive so that she has mementos, but this was beyond ridiculous. A light spinner - $11 at Master Mind Toys, $15US in Disneyland was $35 CAD. We are in a financial position to make these things work without discomfort, and still opted not to, and I am a capitalist through and through but this was literally taking advantage of people (ALBERTA IS IN A RECESSION AND PEOPLE ARE STRUGGLING). The ticket prices were $50 / each for the balcony which was not cheap at all, plus the merch markup....I'm not sure if this was the Jube or the Paw Patrol org, but whoever it was (I still need to figure this out) is an organization I will think twice about supporting solely based on this. Our kid is spoiled, but we literally just got back from Disneyland and you were tracking 50% higher than their merch prices...come ON. 5/5 for the cast, composers, costume & set design, and choreographers. 1/5 for the 'extensions' otherwise.
