Pentatonix are a three-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella group from Arlington, Texas. Their breakthrough came when they won the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2011, and they gained further recognition by uploading videos to their YouTube channel. The quintet has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200: Pentatonix (2015) and the platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas (2016). Consisting of singers Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kristin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee, Pentatonix have been invited to perform everywhere from The White House to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They’ve collaborated with artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Lindsey Stirling, and performed with Dolly Parton on her classic hit “Jolene,” which earned Pentatonix a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017. The talented singers regularly perform in sold-out arenas worldwide, and have toured with acts like Kelly Clarkson, Rachel Platten and Echosmith.

Pentatonix concert was beyond expectations...enjoyed every minute of it and would see them again next year!
Pentatonix at The Danforth Music Hall was absolutely mind-blowing. The acoustics in the venue worked perfectly with their sound, making the a Capella music sound that much sweeter. This band is definitely or the choir nerds out there, as well as anyone who can appreciate a Capella music. The live music sounded exactly how their studio tracks sound (minus a few riffs here or there) and it was absolutely amazing. I DEFINITELY recommend this band to everyone who likes music.
Meeting Pentatonix and seeing them in concert was absolutely unreal. I've admired them for so long and have loved their music and it's almost impossible to believe that they sang Valentine to me and five other people. It was an amazing experience and the concert was the best one I've ever been to.
First time at Danforth Music Hall. Acoustics were great and complimented the harmonies beautifully. Venue esthetics need improving but could not detract from the audiences' enjoymant of the performers.
I've been waiting to go to this concert ever since I saw Pentatonix on The Sing Off in 2011 and it was completely worth it. I've been to concerts before and this was even more than that it was truly an experience. I would recommend everyone see them if you're given the chance. An Acapella band with the dynamics and fun better than any instrumental group. They sang their original song Run to You off Mic and the room was so silent and the song was absolutely beautiful.
The venue was great, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful.
What a fantastic musical singing night, for my 15 year old grand daughter and our daughter. They were Christmas gifts from us as we knew that she just loved the Pentatonix and she was not disappointed. The crowd was into it and it was exciting and YES! very loud, as we seen streaming video on Facebook while it was going on, from her I pad. When they come back tickets will be required again. Grama & Grandpa
Without a doubt, PTX delivered an excellent performance. The show was full of energy, lighting & vocal perfection. Can't wait for them to return to Canada with hopefully a tour in other cities.
The event itself was mind-blowing. Pentatonix is amazing via video, but are INCREDIBLE live! They used a great blend of comedy and vocal wizardry that appealed to every demographic. There were a few downsides to this event. The Phoenix was not an ideal location, as it required everyone to stand for the entire 3.5 hours from when the doors opened to the end of the concert. The opening act spent a little too long on stage, and the main act didn't actually start until almost 10pm. Also, even though the doors opened at 8pm, we had to wait outside in the freezing rain for an hour before we actually got inside. Regardless, it was all worth it - Pentatonix is in a league of their own, and the entertainment value was unparalleled.
Great show. These five artists have a lot of energy and talent. They are really personable and natural too. Worth waiting an hour in the rain for!!
They were absolutely incredibly and very beautiful people. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone even if they don't know Pentatonix
It was an amazing night! Well worth the two hour wait in the freezing rain! All the members sounded perfect, exactly the same sound live and in their videos! Highly recommended, and hopefully they come back to Toronto!
Perhaps one of the greatest concerts that I've been to. If you've watched their videos or listened to PTX albums, the real thing is a million times better and nothing can compare to it. If I could I would only go to concerts to listen to them. They were super engaging and really have perfected their art despite that it's been less than two years since they got together. Only wish it would have gone longer and there was less waiting time. They had a meet and greet afterwards and they were all such sweet people. I do have to commend Ben Bram for the sick sound mixing. The speakers couldn't handle the bass lol but Ben did a great job anyways (if it was him) :)
Awsome show. The Pentatonix desirved to win the SingOff. Better in person than on TV.
Pentatonix is a 5 member a capella group that will blow your mind. What they do with just their voices is unbelievable. They have a signature sound that sounds like a mix of dubstep and techno. Their innovative style differentiates them from most a capella groups. They're undoubtedly talented people and their charisma captivated the audience. If you're looking for something epic, it's definitely Pentatonix.
The show was great once I finally got inside after an hours wait outside of the venue in freezing rain. Once inside I was able to find my friend who saved me a seat and had a great view of the stage from the gallery above. Pentatonix are one of the best groups I have ever seen. Their vocals were amazing and spot on, they sounded better than on their recorded videos and songs, it was incredible. The beatboxer and bass were unbelievable and really took the show to the next level. The three main vocalists were such good singers and had amazing range, making them abe to perform such a variety of songs and styles. Overall such a great show!!
We had tickets and ended up standing in line in the wet snow and rain for an hour and half with our young daughters to then get in at 9:30 to see the very average opening act. We had to leave before Pentatonix even started given the late hour. It should be advertised properly on Ticketmaster that the show does not start at 8 and that there is an opening act. The outdoor lineup in the cold wet weather was awful.
