About

Lauded as an experimental and alternative band and one that's never been married to a particular genre, Phantogram - comprised of lifelong friends Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel - have continued to change the zeitgeist for almost a decade by consistently challenging it with their signature blend of hard-hitting beats, guitar driven dark psychedelia and electronic pop. Since the arrival of 2010's debut release, Eyelid Movies, the duo has amassed over a billion streams, achieved one platinum-certified single, two gold-certified singles, collaborated with legends such as Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, The Flaming Lips and Miley Cyrus, partnered with Big Boi of Outkast to form supergroup Big Grams, headlined sold out shows worldwide, become a festival staple and toured with artists including Arcade Fire, The xx, Muse, M83, alt-J and more.

With major campaigns for Apple TV+, Peloton and Apple Watch, and additional placement in multiple TV shows, the band's reach has never been so wide

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Phantogram rocked it. They packed the house and had awesome energy levels! Their sound is really their own and the vocals from both of artists were impressive."

"Unreal. Phantogram brought so much energy, had an incredible light setup, and played an incredible set."

by LeroyThatGoodBoy on 2025-02-25Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my 6th Phantogram show and it ranks up there with their first show for the Eyelid Movies tour in Vancouver. Electric atmosphere, wild crowd and a phenomenal performance by the band all around. See them live!!

  • Fantastic show by Phantogram

Highly recommend seeing these guys live. Danforth Music hall is a great venue…small enough to be intimate, big enough for top bands to perform. Sound quality was great, and the highlight was the lighting that the band sets up. Top noch and trippy!

First time seeing Phantogram...what an amazing concert. So talented, and hype. Sarah shared some personal stuff about her dearly departed sister and it was very emotional and touching. They kept me on my toes waiting for my favourite song and didn't disappoint by playing it at the very end for their 2 song encore. Come back to Toronto again soon please xo

  • Always awesome. Never disappointing.

Very front of the music hall, caught a drumstick at the end. Great show.

  • Phantogram was awesome; sound mix was terrible

by Auraelia on 2018-07-24The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Phantogram played their hearts out and their performance was fantastic. It’s too bad that the sound mix was terrible and it was nearly impossible to hear the lyrics. Also the balance was off. This tainted an otherwise epic performance.

  • Such a great show!
