The show was great, the music was wonderful and the wine was good too! Of course, Ticket Master fees and fees and fees were super annoying, but other than that it was fantastic!
while we enjoyed the concert our overall impression was that the symphony was under rehearsed and brought down the musicality of the event. The encore was the most impressive set of the evening.
Since the first Album Pink Martini has shown the versatility of its Music; disc after disc they deliver a good quality sound and an outstanding arrangements. When the Band is playing live all your senses move with the music. I have been in 4 Pink Martini concerts and all of then are different you never feel bored at all. If you haven't been in a PM Concert you are missing a part in your life!!
I have seen these guys before at London Hammersmith, but boy, with the symphony orchestra to boot - I was blown away and emotionally moved at some points in the night!
I enjoyed the venue and the ambiance around the concert. I really enjoyed hearing the group live and was very impressed by the clear sound and wonderful voice of China Forbes. It was fantastic having the Vancouver Symphony playing along with Pink Martini although I kind of wished there had been more of Pink Martini.
Pink Martini put on a fabulous show with the San Antonio Symphony! Together, they provided a full rich evening of music! The song choices were wonderfuly varied and kept the whole show moving. Loved it. They are all fabulous performers and I recommend checking out any of their shows to anyone looking for a bit of class and music rolled into one.
