Powerwolf on Tour
Head-banging metal meets fantasy in the epic music creation by the German-based band, Powerwolf. Powerwolf's almighty guitar work, vigorous drums and commanding vocals mixed with themes like religion, demons, vampires, and werewolves create an otherworldly experience. The group consists of guitarist Matthew Greywolf (Benjamin Buss), bassist Charles Greywolf (David Vogt), keyboardist Falk Maria Schlegel (Christian Jost), drummer Roel van Helden, and vocalist Attila Dorn (Karsten Brill). Following the release of their 2022 album, The Monumental Mass: a Cinematic Metal Event, Powerwolf commenced their 2022 European tour, making stops in Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Czechia, and Poland. Donning ghoulish makeup during their performances, Powerwolf's shows are filled with pyrotechnics as the booming voice and undeniably legendary instrumentals encompass every fan lucky enough to see them live. First emerging in the music sphere with their debut album, Return in Bloodred in 2005, Powerwolf has continued to create a slew of classic metal hit albums, including Lupus Dei (2007), Bible of the Beast (2009), Blood of the Saints (2011), Alive in the Night (2012), Preacher of the Night (2013), Blessed & Possessed (2015), Metal Mass: Live (2016), The Sacrament of Sin (2018), Call of the Wild (2021), and The Monumental Mass: a Cinematic Metal Event (2022).
Powerwolf Live in Concert
Perhaps the most successful metal band in Germany, Powerwolf was formed in 2003 by Benjamin Buss and David Vogt. The founders added Falk Maria Schlegel and former drummer Stéfane Funèbre shortly after. With all the instrumentals covered, Buss and Vogt aggressively searched for a lead singer, discovering the passionate fantasy enthusiast, Karsten Brill, in Romania. With the band fully formed, they quickly signed a deal with Napalm Records, releasing their debut album under the label. The band then signed with Metal Blade Records for North American releases. Funèbre's final album with the band was Bible of the Beast, and Helden was added to Powerwolf's lineup for their next album. Powerwolf gained immense popularity in the mid-2010s, gaining gold status on back-to-back albums, Blessed & Possessed (2015) and The Sacrament of Sin (2018), with the single, "Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend," off The Sacrament of Sin going Platinum. With more than 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify and top tracks "Army of the Night," "We Drink Your Blood" and "Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend" combining for more than 137 million streams, it's no surprise Powerwolf is still one of the most iconic metal bands in Germany and in the world.

Had a great time crowd surfing and in the mosh pit! Very caring friendly people! Great music and concert!
Had high expectations before the show, and they did not disappoint! Definitely will go for their concerts again and again
That show was amazing! I loved that it had one opener (who was also amazing), it was on time, not crowded and an all around fantastic evening and show. If/when they come back, I will be getting tickets. (Hopefully with Dragonforce again).
Dragonforce & Powerwolf were completely awesome! Both bands bought their A game! Performances were perfect, staging was spectacular (especially Dragonforce)! The only bad part was both bands had 1 merch table each with 1 person per table. Powerwolf line never ceased all evening. I finally had to miss the last 3 Powerwolf songs and I was still in line long after they finished. Please have more people per merch table and/or more merch tables
Best concert of the year! Love to see a metal band that knows it's in the entertainment business. The performance and the absolute talent of this dudes was a blast. The whole pack came to see you guys!
Opener and headliner were both solid, the venue was good, and the sound was dialed in properly after one song and had no further issues. By far the best experience I've had with music in Toronto to date.
We came from out of town to check out Dragonforce (opening act) and the main ticket, Powerwolf. The venue was relatively easy to access via UP Express, bus and short walk to Rebel nightclub. Rebel was a perfect venue for this event and neither band disappointed the many fans that attended. Powerwolf was incredible and sounded fantastic. Karsten Brill (aka Attila Dorn), the lead singer commanded the stage. He managed to engage with the crowd to a level never seen before. His voice was powerful and his vocal range beyond compare, never missing a single note. He sounded even better live than on streaming platforms. The band members interacted so well together and with the frenzied crowd to make this an unforgettable experience. They performed all of their most popular songs and performed with energy, skill, grace and perfect showmanship. The crowd could sense that they enjoyed performing as much as the crowd enjoyed their performance. It was truly a majestic and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend seeing Powerwolf live.
I had loved every second of the show. I would totally see Powerwolf again. One word to describe the night is epic.
Such a great show, so glad I went! I was a big fan of Powerwolf before, but to finally see them perform live, made me appreciate their art even more. Hopefully I’ll get to see them again. Thanks for a great memory for me and my 10 year old son!
Both bands were amazing, high energy, intercity and over all sounded perfect! I even got a picture with Marc Hudson of Dragonforce!!!! Only thing I could complain about is drink prices but besides that, Powerwolf and Dragonforce are a must see performance.
One of the best performances that I have ever seen and I have seen almost every metal band play. Definitely recommended
What a absolute phenomenal show they really get the crowd into their music. I hope they come back!
Super concert... Powerfolf était au top. Mention spéciale pour l'organisation de la salle de spectacle, les agents sur place, la sécurité, et le public que du beau monde !! On a été assis parce qu'en famille, j'ai beaucoup apprécié. À refaire !
Amazing experience, not only was the group absolutely funny the whole show was the best. I loved it because every single song had an intro to it and we laughed a lot. The music was great the vibes were great would definitely recommend if you’re a heavy metal fan. Also the stage placement changed last minute so the view from our seats was blocked but the Place Bell employees were kind enough to allow us to move a few seats closer to the stage.
Absolutely amazing! This band is gaining popularity across North America and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them skyrocket to the next level! I absolutely love them and think they are right on top with Rammstein! I will definitely be planning a trip to Europe to see them there! I truly hope they will be back for another awesome performance in Canada. This time though a show in Ottawa would be more central in location for those travelling from Ontario & Qc. I’m sure if the added shows across Canada more PowerWolf fans would love it! Metal is Religion!
Incroyable,, très bon spectacle encore une fois. À revoir encore
Amazing show. Sound quality was some of the best I've ever heard.
Just wow!! first time seeing them but not the last
It was one of the best show if not the best I ever saw !
