About

The Presidents Cup is a biennial international men’s golf tournament held by the PGA Tour since 1994. The event features a series of matches across four days between a team of professional American golfers and a team of International players and an international contingency of players from across the globe, excluding Europe. The proceedings also feature an Honorary Chairperson, including eight former U.S. presidents and heads of state from host countries such as Australia, South Korea and South Africa. The tournament also notably awards no prize money, with proceeds instead being donated to player-nominated charities. The Presidents Cup changes location for each tournament. The 2026 Presidents Cup will celebrate the series’ 16th iteration and will be held in Chicago, Illinois at Medinah Country Club on Course #3, September 22-27, 2026.

  • The President’s Cup

by Golf Groupie on 2024-09-29The Royal Montreal Golf Club - Ile BizardRating: 5 out of 5

The President’s Cup Tournament was superbly run, the venue perfect, the golf extraordinary, the ticket prices exorbitant and, sadly, the outcome not what we Canadians hoped for. I am giving The Royal Montreal Golf Club and its volunteers top marks. The Ticketmaster experience was nerve-wracking but ultimately excellent. Good communication and preparation for the event.

Highly recommend going to a practice round, smaller crowds, easier to see the course and maybe meet some players. Was a great time.

Once at the Royal Montreal course, it was great! The course, seing the players, food , everything was perfect. Getting in with a designated bus was anything but fine. The driver got lost. We had to help him. He didn’t know where to drop us. He did at a wrong place! On the course there were NO signs to guide us to the buses at the end of the day. None of the volunteers knew either! Or had à map of the course!i A disaster. Elderly people struggled. 2 hours of walking a round. The in and out ruined our day ….
