Puppetry of the Penis was disapointing

by disgustedwomen on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

We had 14 tickets, ( 14 females) and not one of us girls thought the play was worth the seat price. the female comedian was outstanding and very funny, but the rest of the show was monotonous, and repetative and very dissapointing..

    Penis Puppetry Flagellant

by Beaslie on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

Aside from a couple of humorous 'tricks', this show proved to be rather disappointing. Dialalogue between the two male penis tricksters was extremely amateur and at many times boring. The true highlight of the evening was their warm up female comedienne who garnered non-stop laughter! A true talent!!

    Fantastic

by ManDevil on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

I took a friend for his birthday, and was a little unsure of what to expect. The show was very entertaining, and the guys had brilliant stage banter. There were a couple of guys behind me that were taken aback. Perhaps they were expecting marionettes? Definitely check it out, but remember to maintain an open mind.

    Puppetry was a bit disappointing

by Myndy on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

I brought my sister to the show, expecting to see the same two guys that had I had seen a few years ago. They must have retired because there were two new guys - very young and just not as funny as the original two.

I did not find puppetry of penis especially entertaining. Warm up commedian was maybe a bit too crude and the actual main event was quite repetitious and not special at all.

Penis tricks to try at home

by Rhesid on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

The night was a total surprise for my husband, who was not sure at what he would see. After the robes came off, I think he knew that it was going to be different. We laughed the whole hour, amazed at the imagination, and flexibility of these boys, wondering what their mothers thought of the act. Nudity is not something to be ashamed of and these boys where doing a great job, thanks for making me laugh.

Puppetry of the Penis - A Great Ladies Night!!

by Suzannabella on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

The comedian was fantastic and had us laughing the whole time - great surprise as we didn't know she was part of the show. Couldn't have had a better duo!! The guys were not only amazing, but had a great sense of humor which made the show that much more better. I would recommend this show to all ladies....and men!

    I cried!

by Heedster on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

Laughing until I cried. It doesn't happen very often, but after attending the Puppetry of the Penis, I definately needed kleenex. I was a little disappointed at first that the two fellows on stage were not the original creators, however, after a few moments on the stage, I was pleasantly surprised at their comic nature and incredible talent. Seriously, to pull off genital origami in such a humourous way in front of 100's of women (and a handful of men), is truly amazing - their mothers must be proud :-) !! I must admit, I wondered how they could pull off an entire hour of entertainment, but these guys were great and their facial expressions added to the show - too funny. The stand up comic (Shelley Marshal) that was on stage before the puppet masters, was absolutely hilarous too. All in all, the night was very amusing, entertaining and I'd definately recommend going to anyone (male of female).

    Puppetry was fun !

by EmilyB on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

Definitely a fun thing to attend, I enjoyed it very much. The guys are so comfortable with their nudity it isn't uncomfortable for the audience at all. A definite 5 star except for the comedienne as the opening act. I found her crude, lewd and not the class of the guys.

    puppetry of the penis.

by Sweetybug on 2009-10-29Jack Singer Concert Hall (ECPA) - Calgary

There as a group of 11 of us, 5 of them being men and were a little hesitant of the show. But we all had a great time and may laughs. The only thing that was a disappointment was it was not the original 2 Australlian men that I had seen before. Although the 2 that did perform were really good, it took something away from the over all show by not being the original 2. It would have been nice to know this before buying the tickets. But all in all great time was had by ALL of us.

    The boys are simply nuts!

by Arlene on 2009-10-26The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

My sides and cheeks hurt from laughing so much. Good thing I brought tissue! The female comedian was a riot and the perfect prelude to Puppetry of the Penis.

    Hilarious and memorable

by Peaceful on 2009-10-26The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

The comedienne who opened the show was extremely good - unique and very funny. The two performers held the audience's attention for the whole show and were very talented (!) It was funny and amazing without being rude - a rare and welcome achievement. We (my husband and I) talked about the show all the way home and he has been trying out various constructions - with great success. It was FUN.

    A Laugh Fest

by Cookiebird on 2009-10-26The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

Silly, ridiculous humor and utterly funny. Not sure if the 2 male audience volunteers were staged or not, but what a hoot when they ran up to drop their shorts to learn the Hamburger. And when they happily shook hands with the hosts only to realize where those hands had been! Opening act was dirty and hysterical. Great night of giggles. P.S. My fave is the KFC.

    permanent impression

by notsolittlemermaid on 2009-10-26The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

Wow! Chris and Rich sure know how to make a girl laugh. I dont' know if it was because of embarrassment, amazement, or genuine humor. They're frank, earnest commentary made each origami piece that much more enjoyable. The opening act - well - what an act. I'd like to see more of her in Vancouver.

    Lovin the Drumstick!!

by annezzz on 2009-10-26The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

We really enjoyed the whole show. The comedian in the begginning was pretty funny, a little crude, but very funny. The guys were awsome, it was also a bonus that they were good looking :) Not only were their penises talented, but they were great entertainers. They seemed to really enjoy what they do and we loved how they involved the audience. We definately enjoyed the show and will probably be going the next time they come around!!

Puppetry of The Penis new tour is great

by ThatzRiite on 2009-10-26The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

Extremely funny show with a great team of puppeteers named Rich and Chris. They added a few tricks that I never saw from the original DVD that starred the Australian Friendy and Simon duo. Rich and Chris definitely know their comedic timing and totally love perfoming to a crowd. I wish they had their own DVD of this new tour. The gift shop area was too sparse and needed some Rich and Chris photos and DVD's of their own.
