I always love these folks and this show didnât disappoint.
An amazing performance. There was so much talent on stage I was awestruck. The music and energy were so infectious I couldnât stop dancing the entire 2-hr set. Loved it so much I canât wait for the next chance to see them.
such a tight and excellent band! no need for seating as almost everyone dances the entire time!!
What a great kick off to Pride! Amazing show. Full of energy. Impossible not to dance.
What's not to like? A really varied, high high energy set, mostly funk, but with some great variety. Pacing everything from really fast to lovely and slow. The framing, given that it was Pride weekend, was also handled beautifully, and totally in keeping with the manifest social conscience of this collective. I can only say that we are supremely lucky to have such a talented, dedicated group that is local to Vancouver. I see them every chance I get. Pivot fundraiser, anyone?!?!
As always they give 200%. I love their sound and mostly their energy. Always a fun fun time.
so much fun and was on the dance floor all night. just too many people is the only issue. and What it is was a great back up they are all fabulous
This is the first time I've seen Queer as Funk and I'm a fan! I love the music they choose and they really get the crowd going, right from the start of the concert. It's a good scene, not too crazy but full of energy and fun. What I really like about them is they perform with class - the way they dress, how they act and what they say. It's just pure talent and great energy!
