I was very excited to go and loved every minute of the first hour. I guess I'm just into the oldies. I was disappointed that they didn't play more than one song from HELP and it wasn't even HELP, but instead The Night Before. I wonder if they change up the songs as they tour? Maybe.
In any case, 2nd half was the later stuff and not my cuppa tea. Plus too much talking, and fooling around. I felt they wasted time and could have played more songs rather than chat. They ended with Give Peace A Chance which isn't even a Beatles song, but rather John Lennon's, and again not one of my favorites.
It really took me back to being 12 years old again. They sang like them, shook their heads like them, stood like them and probably played better than them. It was very very cool for me to see them and all and all a super great night despite my 2nd paragraph.
I found myself humming While My Guitars Gently Weeps all the next day.
