  • Good as the Original Beatles.

    by Sunshine66 on 2016-04-23Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic and good as the original Beatles. Everything from the singers, their costuems, the lights and the background show let you feel you are back in that time. So worth to watch it. Standing, singing & dancing crowd to all famous songs and goosebumps feeling for solos like Yesterday. Go and watch it, if you can.

This was my second time seeing Rain. The first time was was over ten years ago and it's hard to believe that the show has evolved so much. It was very interactive and it felt as if we were watching the actual Beatles live. I would highly recommend this show for a fun night out and as an overview of the Beatles amazing career!

Awesome performance!! The band members looked like the Beatles and sounded indredible. I felt like I was transported back in time.

My Mom turned 65 last year and she loved the performance that brought her back to her youth. I really enjoyed all the multi-media incorporated into the performance and the number of songs they were able to cover in 2 hours was fantastic.

I'd see it again and again. The whole audience was on their feet for the last half hour of play including the encore. 20 year olds were blown away !! There were and 11 and 14 yr old boys in front of me who knew every word !! The 80 year olds were on their feet, clapping, waving and hooting!!!

  • Rain, just like seeing the real thing

I was very excited to go and loved every minute of the first hour. I guess I'm just into the oldies. I was disappointed that they didn't play more than one song from HELP and it wasn't even HELP, but instead The Night Before. I wonder if they change up the songs as they tour? Maybe. In any case, 2nd half was the later stuff and not my cuppa tea. Plus too much talking, and fooling around. I felt they wasted time and could have played more songs rather than chat. They ended with Give Peace A Chance which isn't even a Beatles song, but rather John Lennon's, and again not one of my favorites. It really took me back to being 12 years old again. They sang like them, shook their heads like them, stood like them and probably played better than them. It was very very cool for me to see them and all and all a super great night despite my 2nd paragraph. I found myself humming While My Guitars Gently Weeps all the next day.

This show was fantastic! From start to finish, I was entertained! Everyone sang and danced in their seat the entire show! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is a fan of Beatles music!

It was a memorable experience. It was just as I imagined it would be like to see The Beatles. They were excellent musicians and recreated the Beatle sound to perfection. I was blown away and found myself singing along many times during the show. Must be seen!!!

  • RAIN a near Beatle experience

by Hammondguy51 on 2016-03-15National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

I did a little advance research about the show and I was not disappointed. Everything about the show was top-notch. Wonderful multi-media presentation, the musicians who played the Beatles were outstanding. I thought the person playing Paul McCartney had his voice and playing down quite accurately. The band did't just play, but they interacted with the crowd and played a tribute to celebrate the contribution George Martin made to the Beatles sound. All in all it was a great evening. If you liked the Beatles when you were growing up this is the show to see.
