RAMMSTEIN WAS BRIALLANT, AIR CANADA CENTRE SUCKED!

by Slysyl on 2011-05-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Rammstein was one of the best concerts I have ever been to, and I am not even into that kind of music, but went with my son as a mother's day event. From start to finish they were excellent. But I must say that I was disappointed with Air Canada Centre that the girl who frisked me really should not have taken my snack of nuts away from me. I suffer from hypoglycemia and need to keep food available at all time. She made me put it in the garbage, forcing me to stand in line to buy overpriced sugary snack, while feeling faint. Meanwhile up in the 324 section, people were smoking cigaretttes and Marijuana making me feel very ill. why are people allowed to smoke up while I had my snack confiscated? Was I going to kill someone with a deadly nut to the head????

    Excellent

by Willy87 on 2011-05-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Rammstein are excellent as always and their shows are only getting better (last time saw them live ten years ago). Especially the sound quality got much better, which is a big bonus. The show itself is unquestionably fabulous. The setlist was almost perfect with a mix of old and new songs in it, although I probably would have replaced Fruehling in Paris with something else (I'm thinking of Mein Teil or Asche zu Asche). But that's just my preference. Great overall. P.S. I was very surprised that the show was not sold out, quite a lot of empty seats... That's too bad, all the shows in Europe are always sold out and that means that the band may once again give up on North America.

.....and they lit EVERYTHING on fire!!

by WIggins on 2011-05-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

From the massive amount of fire balls, to the stage setup, to the way the band interacted with the crowd and each other, this was definitely a group of truly professional entertainers. The sound was great. You could hear every word Till was saying. The stage antics kept everyone on their feet. When Till lit the renegade "fan" on, for a split second I thought the show was going to end early. But quickly I realized it was just part of their incredible show. One of the benefits of being in the nose bleed section is that you get to see the entire show without missing a single fire ball or explosion. Music was amazing. Stage antics were amazing. Pyro was amazing. One of the best shows I've ever seen. I can't wait to see them again!!

Rammstein knows how to put on a show

by Mutter on 2011-05-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

These guys are great showmen. The music is always great, but they put together an entire experience with theme and, most importantly, pyrotechnics. The ACC was not a great venue, however... there was a lack of connection for those of us in the seating levels, primarily as a result of the gaping hole at the back half of the floor space that created a separation between us, the band and the fans on the floor. A slightly smaller venue that would have brought us all together into one writhing, sweating, joyous celebration of Rammstein would have made this evening unforgettable.

    super cool

by anichka on 2011-05-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

This was my first Rammstein live concert and I can say it was AMAZING. I've seen videos of other concerts and I thought it was super cool, but the live show tops them all. I would go to see them live every time they come to Toronto. I've never seen so much fire on a stage, yeah!!!

    Larger than life!

by Emm88 on 2011-04-04Festival d'été de Québec and Evenko - Québec and Montreal

I have seen a number of big name rock concerts ranging from Placebo to System Of A Down and many have rocked my world but there's something utterly unique about those 6 Germans! Sure they may be overly commercial compared to other german industrial bands like KMFDM, but they put a show equaled by none others! And I truly mean it. Even Metallica who I would say is similarly commercial to Rammstein don't put on nearly as good a show... definitely not as creative that's for sure! Going to a Rammstein concert is like a huge theater production including hundreds of pyrotechnics, crazy props, neatly designed costumes, skids filled with dark humour, sets that are larger than life, and heavy guttural german music perfectly orchestered to the last note. Your eyes will be glued to the stage for the whole performance eager to see what happens next! They may not interact with the crowd much except during a few songs and to bow to the crowd and say thank you in the end, but these guys are basically rocking out while putting on a theatrical performance of top quality. Their energy onstage is explosive to the point of getting a crowd of 100 000+ people chant their lyrics at the top of their lungs (even if it's in a foreign language). I've been lucky enough to see them twice in one year in two different types of venues, one at an outdoor festival with 100 000+ people, and in a sold out arena with 15 000 people. Altho outdoors was grandiose as they take out more pyrotechnics with flames reaching over 30 feet and fireworks whizzing around, the experience in a smaller venue was one of my best concerts still!

DO NOT MISS A CHANCE TO SEE RAMMSTEIN LIVE......

by Anonymous on 2011-03-15Bell Centre - Montreal

I have been a fan of Rammstein since their humble beginnings back in 1995 with their album Herzeleid. Every album seems to amaze me more and more.......... BUT........... to see them live is to truly experience Rammstein! I live close to Edmonton and made the trek all the way to Montreal back in early December to see my favorite band of all time play their first Canadian date in almost 10 years. And man oh man was it worth every cent!!! They have no officially RUINED ALL FUTURE CONCERTS BY ANYONE NOT NAMED RAMMSTEIN!!! It was legendary to say the least........ From the amazing live presence they bring to every show, to the copious amounts of pyrotechnics they use it was truly an experience not to be missed. If you are even the most pedestrian of Rammstein fans you will still want to pay your hard earned cash to see these boys play, especially since they rarely travel across the pond to North America!!! To sum everything up............... IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO SEE RAMMSTEIN...........DO IT!!!!!

How old is too old to see Rammstien?

by OldRammsteinLadyFan on 2011-03-05Air Canada center - Toronto

I love Rammstein and been in love with them more than 10 years. I infected my 3 (now teenage sons) with my love for Rammstein. When I saw they'll be in Toronto I bought tickets for my sons immediately...and they are ecstatic that they'll go and see them live!! I've seen a lot of their concerts online (they all look just AWESOME...GREAT,GREAT SHOWS) and I'd LOVE to see them live too...Rammstein keep my blood flowing on high!....but I feel a bit silly to go there with my grown up sons...I can even go with them but to different section, but I'm 43 and my question is...how old you think it's appropriate to go to the Rammstein concert?

    Rammstein

by stormbringer1964 on 2011-02-27Air Canada Center - Toronto

Ok folks If you have never seen Rammstein live and are unsure about this event, let me tell you. I have seen some of the biggest most notable acts in the world and these guys are at the top of the list. Quebec City 2010 was absolutely amazing. Toronto should be even better. Trust me. If you miss it you'll be sorry.
