Randy is a true rock legend, great show, great music, great stories!
It was an awesome concert! We loved the story telling about their songs and the band was excellent!! Hope Randy and his band returns. Would love to see him and Burton perform together. So proud to be a Canadian!
Great entertainer, story teller!! Loved the “live version” of Vinyl Tap. A Canadian music legend sharing his roots and life /song stories.
Randy is an excellent storyteller! He spent quite a lot of time talking to the audience, and revealing how the Guess Who and BTO songs came to be, followed by playing the songs . Very interesting for music fans!
Randy was fantastic! The band was amazing! The sound was perfect!! I can’t wait for all the road construction to be completed!
So many hits, and more stories. Thoroughly enjoyable. Danced at our seats.
Love his story telling and heard most of the songs I wanted to hear.
Just awesome! Randy still has it and told very informative stories explaining song meanings and life as young Canadian musicians.
Randy brought back such great memories of the past. Reminiscing about all the times I saw him over the years with BTO and the songs from the Guess Who. I remember the days when BTO toured with Heart , April Wine and Trooper through the BC Okanagan. Thoroughly enjoy the show especially when his grandson joined him for TCB!
The style of this concert was a surprise, but what a wonderful surprise!! The stories Randy had to tell were fascinating and the music… perfect. All the musicians/singers were so talented. I also really enjoyed Bobby Cameron! The only downfall was a couple of drunk/high guys behind us who talked through the whole concert and sang along at the top of their lungs. Not impressed.
Great to see the Canadian legend, and hear some stories. Music was just ok. The opening act was painful, sorry Bobby.
I’ve seen him before and I really enjoyed it. He tells engaging stories, but I felt it was too much and the show was relatively boring for me.
Great stories to go along with each of the songs!!
Randy was amazing - made it fun, told us stories, music on pointe, played the hits - was a great concert !
Unbelievable performance by Randy Bachman, he did a great job of telling his stories and following up with the song.
Wow...thank you Randy for the fabulous performance and the story of your musical journey from the beginning to present day last night at the Grey Eagle in Calgary... and a shout out to your band mates for their great job as well..."Keep on rolling down the Highway"
It was great to see Randy and his band this night. It was nice to hear all his stories and how he made it in the music industry. Overall a fantastic experience!!
The music was excellent and the band did a great overall job of representing the songs they performed. I was a little disappointed that Randy didn't introduce his band members early in the show, and let us know their backgrounds. The lead singer was excellent. Another disappointment were the people in the audience that bought more than 1 beer each and got sloppy, spilling beer virtually everywhere. That takes away from the enjoyment of the event.
Absolutely the best 2 hours I've ever spent. He was warm, humorous incredibly interesting and engaging.
The Randy Bachman concert was a 5-star event, mostly because it didn't exhaust us with "pumping"out as much sound as possible in a 2.5 hr. time frame. Instead, Randy playfully pulled us into his musical journey and the highlights of his career. And indeed, isn't this what the 60's + crowd is seeking? Mentorship. Wisdom. Struggles. Successes. And of course, paying it forward; with a little bit a sugar. He takes care of business giving the grit of the industry more respect than it probably deserves and that is another tick; letting it ride. Hey you, that is admirable. We enjoyed it and left, rolling down the highway, feeling educated, inspired and entertained. Keep strumming Randy...and paying it forward. What you give; is what you get. Hats off to you and your professional band; you ain't seen nothin yet. Outstanding!!
