Randy put on a great show. For 80 years old he can still play the guitar with the best of them. Telling his life story was very interesting as well.
Randy Bachmann was a wonderful story teller narrating his life about the music. His crew did justice to his songs. Having Randy's son sing was an added bonus. The River Cree is an interesting venue. There are huge screens for great viewing. The chairs are comfy and well spaced. I had never been to a concert there but will return.
Yes Randy Bachman is getting on in years as is most of his band. The stories behind the songs certainly made up for any loss of vocal range. Excellent show from beginning to end!
We totally loved the show! Randy put on a great show we loved how he told his story about his career as a young teenager to now. Can't believe he's 80 OMG looks 65!!
Great concert with awesome renditions of musical hits by Randy from the Guess Who and BTO. The whole crowd joined in the fun and lyrics. Also loved his son Tal's delivery of his hit "She's so high". Great historical background pics to view behind the stage while the boys performed each song.
Probably the most unique and educational concert experience I've ever attended. First, the music was great as expected. But the stories Randy told took me back in time and brought back memories of the 60s, 70s and 80s that were so special. Randy was able to articulate so clearly the history of his music, the bands and people he was involved in. You became so engaged you didn't want the show to end. Thank-you Randy.
This was an amazing concert. Randy Bachman was looking and sounding pretty good for 80 years old! He and his band blew the roof of The Venue at River Cree! Great stories and pictures as he played the songs we grew up with! If you get the chance to see Randy Bachman, do it! High energy, awesome guitars, great stories! Loved it!
Randy Bachman, a phenomenal song writer. Led us through a laid back and enjoyable evening, a visit through memory lane to some of his musical hits of his career. Randy sharing stories explaining to his attentive audience how the song came about and then him and his fellow musicians played it. A treat of seeing three talented generations of Bachman's at his side sharing the stage. His son Tal Bachman, and his grandson Leo playing in the encore. "Thank You For The Feelin'"Randy.
I grew up with this music from a young teen to adulthood. Bachman played them all along with stories from the past. Great concern.
It wasn't exactly what we were expecting, none less we were not disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the stories and the trip down memory lane with the music and pictures.
It was a great show from beginning to end,Randy Bachman told some great old stories of musical history about the Guess Who,Bachman Turner Overdrive, and other Bands very entertaining .
This concert was amazing. A wonderful storytelling of the history of the The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive. It felt like hearing about the story of a regular guy who happened to have been at so many historical opportunities. I can't believe Randy is 80 years old. He and the band did a stellar performance.
The concert was amazing, I loved all t6he story telling, he gave us so much in site to how he got the ideas for his songs. All the pictures was so nice to see. He started his story of when it all began, you didn't want to miss one second of it . truthfully I would go see the same show again in a heartbeat, that's how good it was. It was an amazing event at a great venue. Thanks so much for the show. Fantastic
I’ve been to dozens of concerts and this one ranks with the best. Randy is a gifted storyteller and telling the audience how each song came to be makes his classic songs that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend if you ever get a chance. His band was right on and having Taj Bachman do vocals as well was a real treat.
It was very entertaining - great laughs, great songs, great memories.
If you didn’t know, this is a history of Randy Bachman. Not a “concert” exactly. It’s a history of Randy’s hits from the early Guess Who thru BTO. Where they were and how they came to exist followed by the song itself. An interesting history of one of Canada’s great entertainers and songwriters.
Randy was so enjoyable. His storytelling is fantastic and really added to the musical selections. We would see him again in a heartbeat if he ever came back. Such a timeless artist.
I was just expecting a great show with some great music. What we got was a history lesson. Thank you, Randy. And I did get a tee shirt.
A wonderful mix of story telling with some of his greats, made this a one of a kind trip back in history. His opening act Bobby Cameron laid down some great blues licks that warmed the show up nicely for the greatness that was to entail.
We have not enjoyed a concert more in many years! The format of Randy reminiscing about his long career through stories and photographs as well as his songs was amazing! It took the audience back through time, and gave us the opportunity to reflect on not just his story, but also our own, as most of us have been long time fans, and have had the Guess Who and BTO as part of the soundtrack of our lives. Thank you Randy Bachman!
