RAYE on Tour
Rising UK artist RAYE is not a polite pop star. If it happened, she'll write a song about it, and nothing's off limits. Her music is fun and dance-worthy, but cathartic in its subject matter. She deftly blends blues, R&B, trip-hop and pop sounds with lyrics written straight from the heart and experience.
RAYE has written songs for artists like BeyoncĂŠ, John Legend, Little Mix and David Guetta, but gained notoriety as a performer after being featured on several UK Top 20 hits, including "By Your Side" with Jonas Blue, "You Don't Know Me" with Jax Jones, "Secrets" by Regard, and "Bed" with Joel Corry and David Guetta. In 2017, "Decline," featuring Mr. Eazi, was her first UK Top 20 hit.
In 2019, she was honored with BMI's Impact Award for her creativity and impact on the music industry. In 2020 she released the EP Euphoric Sad Songs featuring the UK Top Ten single "Secrets."
On her debut album, My 21st Century Blues, RAYE offers brutal honesty on songs like "Ice Cream Man," which details a personal tale of sexual abuse. She also addresses an eating disorder in the song "Body Dysmorphia," and addiction in the song "Mary Jane." My 21st Century Blues garnered widespread critical acclaim, and peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
RAYE played her first major live shows in Europe and North America in 2022, and embarked on her first headlining tour in 2023. She has also opened for acts like Lewis Capaldi, Halsey, Khalid and Years & Years.
RAYE Live in Concert
Rachel Agatha Keen, known professionally as RAYE, was born on October 24, 1997. She was born and raised in the Tooting section of London before moving to Croydon. She started her music career young, guided by her father, who was the musical director at a church. She enrolled in the prestigious BRIT School in 2012, and while she dropped out after a few years, she continued to work on her music and released her debut EP Welcome to the Winter in 2014.
A standout from the EP titled "Hotbox" got attention, and a meeting was arranged with Polydor Records. RAYE parted ways with Polydor in 2021, citing frustrations with the label over their refusal to release her debut album. In 2023, the singer-songwriter made her U.S. network TV debut with a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and began touring for the first time as a headlining act.

amazing, one of the best in the music industry right now. second time ive seen her and she did not fail to amaze.
Raye is a great singer and the band was OK. What was very disturbing to me and to my friends; she took so much time in between each song to talk. Talked way too long, the buildingup of the rithem and the embiance of the evening was competely lost. Creating a vibe is definately hard as an independend artist.
SHE IS PHENOMENAL!! Made the show such a personal experience!!!!
She is a true talent and even a better voice in person.
Amazing performance! Loved the theme of the night "Honesty" The vibe and venue were both awesome. Loved her songs and the way she interacted with audience. Don't hesitate to book tickets next time she's in town.
She ate that shit up. Shit was fire. The music and the vibe was amazing. She was also really nice person and she was funny. She was so real and was really sweet.
I really love Raye but she talk too much! 3 minutes of song, 5 minutes of talking. Shut up and đ¤ sing! I love Mtelus. This is my favorit place for concerts. I had a problem with someone who throw drink a us twice, and they kick him out so thank you for handeling problems properly.
Amazing artist, great connection with the public and amazing voice! Would go see her again
Second time seeing Raye and sheâs just AMAZING! Great performance, voice and connection with the audience.
The preshow ("Absolutely") did not have the same level of pizzazz, which was unfortunate. At times, it was hard to hear the singer, and there was not much happening on stage. However, Raye was fantastic! Loved the live band (especially the trumpet). Crowd interaction was fantastic, and the sound was awesome. Overall a great experience.
Best voice, best show, best artist , best performance. I am just baffled by her. Amazing artist. RAYE ON TOP
Nice and perfect show. Good sound quality and amazing light game.
Raye came to Velvet Underground on the 17th and she was a superstar inside of a small venue that was incredibly lucky to have her. Sheâs so sweet, so elegant, and had the crowdâs attention for her entire set. She is one of the most talented singers (she also played piano during the night) I have ever seen on stage - her vocal control, her high notes, her belting - she never missed a breath or missed a note and the result was a rare and incredible experience. She seemed to genuinely enjoy being on stage and would talk to the crowd in between songs, even telling us multiple times that while she had never been to Canada before, she would definitely be coming back to Toronto because of the energy and the support of the crowd. She is a must-see act and one that will surely be singing on bigger and bigger stages in the future.
