It was not good at all
by Irina2807 on 2016-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 2 out of 5I think Ticketmaster needs to put age restriction on all events. I barely could hear the pianist because small children around me were eating, jumping on their seats and talking to their parents. Also people who were late were allowed in during the performance. My evening was spoiled.
Richard Clayderman is amazing
by mll3 on 2016-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5Well worth waiting for Richard to come to Vancouver... He can play any genre and is not only entertaining but masterful. I hope he comes back again!!
great to meet Richard in person
by Nicolesitu on 2016-10-05Roy Thomson Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5I start listening to Richard 's music when I was like in middle school,I never expect one day I would see him on day personally,I was like in dream when I saw him personally in the concert on Oct 2,I was so excited! The only thing that I dislike the concert was the sound effect was not that great and I was expecting only Richard in the stage and play piano, not with cello and villolin, but anyway, this is absolutely the highlight of my life as I love Richard's music so much
Unforgettable Concert

Went to concert - got sponsor advertising instead
by chirk on 2016-10-04Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 1 out of 5Wow what a disappointment. Richard played OK but showed little enthusiasm for the evening. Perhaps that was because of what happened at the intermission. That was when the stage was taken over by overenthusiastic sales types from the event "sponsor". Some kind of finance/investment company I think. Lots of oversized trophies were handed out to various strangers for attending some kind of golf tournament. There must have been 10 trophies, so I guess anyone who went to the tournament had a pretty good chance of getting onstage. The presentations and photographs went on and on. Poor Richard had a forced smile as he was obliged to be part of the presentation team. Really embarrassing to watch. I took a note of the sponsoring organization's name and resolved to myself to never do business with them in the future. Bad show in many ways.!

NO idea what is going on when sponsor began to speak Mandarin. Sort of rude and not appropriate.
