Rock superstar Rick Springfield has been wooing audiences with his polished voice and leading-man looks ever since his rise to fame in the early '70s. More than four decades later, he looks and sounds as good as ever, treating fans to an unforgettable evening of solo performance and storytelling on his Stripped Down tour. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Australian-born Rick Springfield began playing the guitar at age 13, cutting his teeth in several bands in England after his army officer father relocated the family there in 1958. After a stint fronting the British band Zoot in the late '60s, Springfield launched his solo career in 1971 with debut single "Speak to the Sky," a Top 10 hit in his native Australia. After releasing several moderately successful albums in the '70s, Springfield hit his stride in 1981 with Working Class Dog, a massive success propelled by the No. 1 hit "Jesse's Girl." 1982's My Success Hasn't Spoiled Yet fared similarly, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawning several more hit singles. A veteran showman with four decades of touring under his belt, Springfield returns to the road once again for a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

We had an awesome time seeing Rick Springfield! He played all of his greatest hits as well as some songs off his new CD. He is the consumate preformer, and has a lot of interaction with his audience. Would I go see Rick Springfield again? DEFINATELY!!!
Rick was awesome....he still got it even at 59 yrs old.....loved it ....loved it...... have every album and he didnt disappoint live.....
I had no idea he was such a great guitar player as well as singer! He spent time talking to the audience and plenty of time IN the audience. What an amazing show!
Rick Springfield was absolutely amazing! It was just like meeting an old friend on the street, after many years apart. I've always been a fan, but seeing him LIVE was unforgettable! He was just out to have a good time with his friends/fans. I go to a lot of concerts, but his was the first where I felt like the singer was REALLY connected with the audience. It was like we had all been there together before. There were the inside jokes, the familiar stories retold and the catching up with what's new. And then there was the music! Those familiar old tunes that stand the test of time and the new songs that I'll want to hear again and again. Overall, it was one of the BEST concerts I've ever attended. I never understood before how people could be follow a singer from venue to venue, but now I know. I'll definitely be seeing him again. Thanks, Rick! See you soon!
This guy is such a great performer...so energetic and great to watch. I never knew what an awesome guitar player he was...it was amazing to see. Besides "Jesse's Girl", the best part was his interaction with the audience. He actually walked into the crowd and hugged people...joked with them...let a girl take his shirt off! It was unforgettable!
I have to say I absolutely LOVED Rick Springfield. He had the audience just captured with every song. He was so fantastic with us! He sang incredible and I loved how he communicated with us after every song. It really was a fantastic concert. Bring him back!!!!!
Rick always puts on an incredible show. He is an incredible performer with great music. His interaction with the crowd is great. We had floor seats so we could go right to the stage and watch him close up. It was GREAT! This was my third Rick Springfield concert and I will go back for more! Even his Mom was there. How cute!
When I was a teenager I wanted to see Rick Springfield when he played at the CNE Grandestand, but I was unable to attend. Now that I am an adult I took the opportunity to get my youth back. I found he looked the same as he did when I was a teen. I am now 40. He put on an amazing show, he was very interactive with the audience. I enjoyed it when he went around the seats and let people get close to him.
never really knew much about rick other than his hit jesse girl, when i got the tics and did some research he is quite the resilient performer. The show was slick great sound and he worked the audience with perfection. Great rock show one of the more enjoyable and entertaining ones we had seen in a while. Naturally all the ladies loved him and he is in great shape still at his age. I would highly recommend his show. And to think the tickets were only $25.00 each, best value for money i have ever gotten.
I was at Rick's 80's concert at the CNE and let me tell you...he's just as good if not better! Age is treating him very well. I would go see him again in a heartbeat.
It was amazing to finally watch Rick Springfield live. He looks better than ever and is avery down to earth man. I would love to see him back in Canada SOON. Casino Rama was wonderful to have hime there but was about two hour drive for me.....totally worth it though. Can't wait to see him here in Toronto next time.
Man, what a show! Rick rocked the Rama concert hall. He put on an amazing show and it brought back so many memories of listening to his music in my teenage years and I love the energy that he puts into his shows now. He interacts with the fans and seems to have genuine fun while onstage! He even brought his mum along with him to the show and I think that is amazing, way to go mum...at a young 88!! I hope that he returns to this area again in the future!!
The old fella can still rock. Hard to believe he is 1 yr shy of 60. And by the amount of ladies in attendance he is still a heart throb to all ages of women. Had fun!
Rick is still rockin' on believe it or not. He turns 60, yes 60 this year and gave us all a concert that some 30 year olds would not have been able to pull off. Tons of energy! I never realized that he was such an excellent guitarist. He plays the lead guitar on all the songs. He is so playful with the audience and really makes you feel like he is talking just to you. Absolutely loved it!

This show was AMAZING!! I mean AMAZING! He preformed to the audience like he did in the 80's. Rick Springfield has still got and he will always have it. It was the best concert i have been too in a very long time. thank you
Great venue. Great concert. Rick looks amazing and played some new and all the old classics. Loved how he interacted with the audience. I had forgotten about him...but now I am listening to all the old stuff again. Love it!
