It was a stellar concert with a stellar lineup.. from the “Starr” performer himself Ringo, and his incredible ensemble of band mates, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Steve Lukather, Hamish Stuart, Warren Ham, and Greg Bisonette.. We couldn’t have been more happy with the concert, the ensemble, or the venue in Kingston ON.. A 5 Starr Rating for Sure!!
Huge Beatle fan. Saw Ringo and his All Star Band a few years ago. Always has amazing musicians and his recent show in Kingston was no different. We don't get out as often as we used to, but this was well worth staying later than usual. Peace and Love.
great concert, bought ticket same day as concert having heard about it on cbc radio,was a great mix of old classic songs by beatles,ringo,averagewhiteband,toto and more,great musicians that clearly like and appreciate each other,greg bisonnette did a great job all night doing the heavy lifting on drums and ringo still knows how to wield those sticks himself,thoroughly enjoyed the night,my only criticism was the venue seating,too small and hard for my old broken body,but worthwhile going,absolutely
The musicianship was amazing. Loved the songs. Brought me back in time. Toto is one my favorites. But also seeing songs of Men at Work. Edgar Winter. Funk jams like Cut the Cake. The drum solo soo fun. Last but not least seeing Ringo was priceless
Phenomenal musicianship and stellar entertainment! What incredible talent from each of the performers! The greatest hits of the greatest players form their respective bands coming together to blow our minds. Definitely recommend EVERYONE see this show- one of my Top Five concerts ! When can I go again??
From the eaze of finding and paying for the tickets to the concert itself, everything was great! Looking forward to my next purchase, whatever that may be.
Ringo Starr and his All-Star band were fantastic! Ringo was a Beatle, that speaks for itself. Ringo was amazing to hear and see. But what pulled at my rock and roll heart strings , was the all-star band. Steve Lukather and Warren Ham (Toto) were amazing, Colin Hay (Men at Work) was a stand out for me. But please it doesn’t stop there. Let’s not forget Edgar Winter , Hamish Stuart and Greg Bissonette… This line up turned a great show into one of the best concerts I have seen to date. Maybe I could have summed this up by saying. Ringo has played with the best, and I don’t think he will settle for anything less, and it showed.
This was a fantastic show. Ringo was phenomenal, dancing, singing, drumming. The all star band performed some much loved favorites that I grew up listening to. This was my son's 1st concert he is a Beatles fan (at only 13 years old) so very wonderful for him to see a legendary Beatle perform live.
Ringo asked a few times… “Are you having fun?” That is what is was… fun! Great tunes from all the band including the only time I have seen a Beatle playing live.
It would have been better if Ringo would have sing couple more song that was sadly left on the table(e.g. you're sixteen, la de da, love me do Ringo's version, and rock around the clock) but over all was very enjoyable and the drummer part (Bissonnette) was wow, I though it was the reincarnation of John Bonham)
Great venue for a concert but parking not so great.
It should have been labelled featuring Ringo. The show was fantastic and the talent was overwhelming. It really took me through a time warp back to the 70's and 80's with Toto's best songs all played, men without hats best songs and a drum solo that still shakes my head, the talent was outstanding. Hard to believe that most performers were in there 60's while Ringo was in his 80's! Great Job Boys!
Everything was perfect.Looking at the Band we see that they have a good time together.They where in good shape even Edgar Winter.The only thing i disagree with is the people who stand- up at the begining of the show and stay like that yo the rest of the show.Beside that I enjoy the show (my second).
I am on military duty in Kingston, Ontario. After arriving, I saw notices on the local arena venue, the Leons Centre, for Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band! I would still be here, and had to go! I got a good seat, and never having seen him or the band, but having heard great things, looked forward to it. Could not have been happier! The mix of Beatles hits sung by Ringo in the day, his better known solo hits, and the greats from his band mates' bands (Toto, Men at Work, Average White Band, Edgar Winter band), awesome! One issue, and hearing others that night I was not alone, the merch table set up was awful - confusing, only one location, and so busy many of us had no chance, unless you wanted to wait an hour after. I bought a shirt online, as others had said they would do as well.
A combination Ringo, Edgar Winter, Toto, AWB and Men at Work concert, led by the man himself. One of the best concerts I've ever attended!
This multi-talented band was fantastic! It's not just Ringo, but an all-star cast from other well known bands which means you hear their tunes too. Great concept for veteran rockers to perform again.
Fabulous evening of entertainment by some of the greatest All Starrs.. especially enjoyed Edgar Winter! The venue was acceptable, but the venue people seemed disorganized at times. All in all, was very good concert and the price was perfect and not overdone.
The band was excellent; there songs were excellent! All these guys still got it! Show of a lifetime for me as one could never hope to see all these great musicians on the same stage!
Thank you Ringo and the all star band for wonderful experience. I would do it all over again. Fantastic musicians. Lots of talent. Cheers to you all. Hope the rest of the shows will be as good as this one. Played there music when we got home.
