About

R&B star Robin Thicke's infectious No.1 single "Blurred Lines," from the No. 1  album of the same name, became the song of the summer of 2013, and fans who get tickets will help keep the funky momentum alive on his 2014 tour featuring Jessie J and DJ Cassidy. Thicke is a well-honed performer who's been gracing stages since he was a teen, and he's also an in-demand songwriter and producer. In concert, Thicke -- flanked by a live band and dancers, and sometimes playing the keyboards -- delivers a mix of his own songs with covers of songs popularized by some of the artists who influenced his music, including Bob Marley, Al Green, and Michael Jackson.

    Not his best showing...

by BriBriLongTimeFan on 2014-07-29Casino Rama - Rama

I've seen Robin three times. 2007 when he was little known, March 2014 when he played in Connecticut, and just this past weekend at Casino Rama. I know what he is capable of as an artist and performer, and was very disappointed in this last show that he put on, especially given that his concert earlier in the year was so phenomenal. The show at Rama was disjointed and seemed disorganized, as though they were making up the set on the fly. And then he pushed his new album extensively while 99% of the audience sat silent in their seats. He ended the show with blurred lines a few cover songs, which were nice, but he could have just as easily played any number of his hits like "lost without you" to bring the crowd to its feet... Robin, I love you, but I wish you would have played a variety of your beautiful music that makes me adore you still.

    Robin Thicke = AMAZING

    by Toronto80 on 2014-07-29Casino Rama - Rama

It was an amazing concert very entertaining from start to finish. He had so much energy and was dancing and jumping everywhere on stage. I would definitely go back to another of his concerts.

    AMAZING

by TC146 on 2014-03-16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Honestly, I loved the show. It was definitely a night I will never forget. Robin has amazing range and sounds really good live. I drove through a storm for 5 hours to get to Detroit to see this concert and I feel like it was well worth it. Everybody was out of their seats and dancing. Bottom line: I loved it and you will too :)

    FREAKING AMAZING!!

    by Rhea01 on 2010-02-21Sound Academy - Toronto

I have always been a huge fan of his music but have not been to one of his concerts before, so when I saw the tickets advertised for Sex Therapy, I was ecstatic! Not only is he amazing to listen to on CD...if you can imagine, he gets better in person! It was very theatrical with all the different musical instruments to his back-up singers to his fluid performance on stage! And he also played material from The Evolution of Robin Thicke CD which I was so happy about! When I first saw that it was playing at the Sound Academy I was a little hesitant at first but it turned out to be awesome! The earlier you go the better standing spot you get - and we had kick ars spots so we got amazing views of him! Another reason we got amazing views is that a lot of his fans are short women (I am one of them, so I am sure the person standing behind me was very happy). All in all - AMAZING and I cannot WAIT to see him perform again!

Robin went all night long !!!

by qtee on 2010-02-15Sound Academy - Toronto

the opening acts were pretty good too .. but Robin put on a great great show ... he's so talented, and his music is great ... and after last night, i now know what a great entertainer he is .. not sure the $$ difference for VIP was worth it .. limited good viewing from upstairs, so ended up spending most of the time standing downstairs for the show anyway ..

Robin is too sexy for his own good!!!

by SandyCity on 2010-02-15Sound Academy - Toronto

This man is talented!!! He was extremely entertaining. Crazy sexy concert. Took me back to R. Kelly days. Excellent voice. He performed all his songs from Sex Therapy & some old ones as well as other artist classics. However, the venue sucked and the production company was extremely unorganized. VIP section was not worth the extra $30. The concert was supposed to start at 8:30pm and began an hour later, with 3 unnecessary opening acts, Robin didn't come on until after 11pm. I wouldn't have minded if the opening acts were good. The DJ was better than the opening acts. I would have preferred to hear all the music they were playing instead of 2 hours of terrible openers.

    Definitely disappointing!

    by heatherv21 on 2010-02-15Sound Academy - Toronto

My husband and I were so disappointed by this event. We have always been RT fans, and even played his songs at our wedding. It was our first time at the Sound Academy and figured that it would have been better than it was - especially because it was Valentine's Day. The worst part was that they had too many awful Canadian performers opening. 3 opening acts with three 25 minute intermissions. RT didn't even come onto stage until 11PM (tickets said 8:30). We were standing for nearly 4 hours. It was definitely not worth $66 each. It really felt like a budget production but RT's band was pretty good. The tracks sounded similar to the record but the band seemed to overpower RT's voice a lot. Overall, the concert seemed like a forced raunchy event. We understand that it was called "sex therapy" but it was bad and not as high-end as excepted from a Granny-winner. We left early after we heard our favorite song, "lost without you".

Robin Thicke threw down last night. The performance he put on, inside the Sound Academy was amazing. He had it all and thensome going on!!!! His whole live band was in sync with him, the lights, and the crowd. If you missed the show you need to find out where he is playing next and go see him.

    Incredible Performance

by RobinFan on 2010-02-15Sound Academy - Toronto

Anyone who hasn't had the chance to see Robin Thicke live must go! He's an incredible performer and will blow you away beyond expectations. His band deserves a lot of credit, they are the best out there. The Toronto valentine's day concert was amazing. Great setlist, great energy.
