Ronnie still has an amazing voice

by luvronnie on 2014-06-12Prince George Civic Centre - Prince George

Too bad more people didn't know about the concert.Lack of advertising I guess. Small crowd but he put on a show like it was a full house.

Good but sound could be better

by DuctTapeDave on 2013-10-15Casino Rama - Rama

The Ronnie McDowell concert was very good. Ronnie is a great storyteller and had plenty of stories about Elvis. However the sound could have been better. We were sitting in the second row and Ronnie's voice was distorted and the microphone was booming and popping a lot.

    Ronnie McDowell Show 2013

by Di1955 on 2013-10-15Casino Rama - Orillia Ontario

I took a friend of mine Angela and myself to see Ronnie McDowell's Show, we had an awesome time, Ronnie McDowell son Ronnie Dean got us to go back stage to see his Dad, we had our pictures taken with all the performers. The show was awesome and Ronnie McDowell's nephew Jody McDowell sang Lou Armstrong's song What Wonderful World that was awesome, we got to talk to Ronnie, Ronnie Dean and Jody McDowell after the show. It is so nice for Ronnie Dean McDowell to have my friend and myself backstage, all the McDowell Men are very nice to talk to. For Angela and myself there was one part of the show that was so moving was when the Stamps sang Sweet Spirt it brought happy tears to my friend face it was so moving. Thanks to all the performers and the McDowell Men and musican's for an awesome show. Diane Hicks, Oakville, Ontario Canada I hope Casino Rama have them back next year, this would be awesome. It was a beautiful drive from Oakville to Orillia the fall colours were beautiful awesome show, worth the two hour drive.

Ronnie McDowell and his Tribute to the King

by audreyd on 2013-10-15Casino Rama - Rama

Ronnie was in great form, his voice, the songs he chose were fabulous. It was a wonderful evening filled with great memories. The only thing missing was DJ Fontana, he was slated to perform and he wasn't there and nothing was mentioned about him at all. I hope he was okay.

Ronnie McDowell more talking than singing

by nklcty on 2011-09-26Casino Rama - Orillia

Althought it was nice to see and hear the people Elvis performed with it would have been better to hear more singing and less talking. The show was 90 minutes and there was about 10 - 12 songs performed. Ronnie had some props he used during the show posters and cds that we found out were available to buy after the show. I don't think I will take in anymore of his shows I had to drive 3 hours for a short show. He also stayed at one end of the stage not giving people at the far end a chance to see him that much.
