We loved it! We went with my husband and my daughters and I totally expected the usual Peter pen show and got a different experience then initially thought. It was just awesome 👏 funny, Whitty, up to date , modern, audience engaging ! We Loved it.

It was a dark and rainy night

by Gramma on 2023-01-07Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

Dinner and theatre with my grandchildren made a winter night perfect! We laughed and booed until our sides hurt. We will miss the fun of the panto. Thanks to Ross and the cast.

    A Christmas tradition

by LLC on 2023-01-07Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

So sad to see this panto production go after 25 years. My daughter and her friend grew up watching and loving these shows. There is something for everyone - phenomenal signing and dancing, fabulous costumes, celebrity appearances, and hilarious comedy /improv with satirical references to local and current day events. So fun to see my daughter recognize and appreciate more and more of those references over the years. But mostly, it is the recurring brilliance of Eddie Glen, Dan Chameroy and Ross Petty that made the shows so memorable. Well done Ross, well done.

    Loved it!

    by E. N. on 2023-01-06

The kids were into it and mesmerized! The dancing, the singing, it was on par! Wish we’ve done this a long time ago and not just when the production is coming to an end. Hope to see more equally done family entertainment in the future! Thank you Ross Petty!

by Shirley on 2023-01-06Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

Our family has loved Ross pantomime’s since our girls were small. It was a wonderful family experience for many years. We are saddened that they have to end but do understand when one must retire.

    A Fabulously Entertaining Send-Off!

by Jessica & Family on 2023-01-05Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

My family and I absolutely loved the show! My children, ages 8 and 5, were in complete amazement and spoke about Plumbum and Captain Hook for days afterwards. We were so grateful to have been able to watch and share in this spectacular event. Thank you Ross for your dedication to the arts and to witty family entertainment all those years.

    . . . and Hilarity Ensued

by Librarygrl on 2023-01-05Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

I had long been wanting to attend one of Ross Petty's Christmas pantos, and knowing that this was his final one, and having a six year old grandson who is a sponge for new experiences, I knew I had to go to Peter's Final Flight. I bought a family four-pack and took my son, my daughter and my grandson, and it was as bright and colourful and silly and smart and witty as I had hoped. The cast are terrific and all seem to be having as good a time as the audience, I was particularly fond of Smee, Hook himself and, of course, Plumbum. I knew it was going to be good as soon as the play began to "Enter Sandman". Lots of timely little jokes for the adults, broad comedy for everyone, just great family entertainment.

    Gonna miss you guys!

by EllenVF on 2023-01-05Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

I loved the show! Bittersweet to think that there won't be another like it. A little unappreciative of some of the adult humor, though I realize it went over the younger audience members' heads. On the whole, though, it was magical!

We have been going to the Panto almost every year since my daughter was little. She is now 30 and it has been our annual holiday experience. Loved it as we have always done. Such fun!

    Ross Petty - Peter Pan

by Mark KL on 2023-01-03Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

I have been going to see Ross's pantomimes for many years with my children and it was bittersweet to see his final production. A sentimental journey for those of us who have seen his shows before but still had plenty of laugh out loud moments for first timers like my seven year old. A talented team with obvious chemistry who enjoyed what they are doing. My biggest regret is that i wont be able to take my foamily to anymore of these shows.

    Fantastic Show!

by PET_Rock on 2023-01-03Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

We've been going to the Ross Petty pantomime shows for most of the 25 years and we've loved them all. But this final production was perhaps the best - a great send off to an amazing franchise!

    Fun For All Ages

by Grandma on 2023-01-02Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

I took three of my children and five of my grandchildren to see the Ross Petty Pantomime on December 28th. This has been a Christmas tradition for the past 16 years. We all enjoy the show - there is singing, dancing, a fractured fairytale story and everyone participates in cheering on the hero or heroine and booing the villain. We are all very sorry that this tradition is ending, but we will have wonderful memories of attending these productions.

    So much fun

by Sasha on 2023-01-02Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

Attended our first Ross Petty performance and the Elgin. We loved the energy, interactive performance. Amusing, engaging and music was awesome. Was sorry to hear this is the last Ross Petty production and it was clear the audience were long-time followers with their very touching responses and standing ovations. If you haven’t seen it, there are still a few more dates. It’s one the family will remember.

Talent was excellent..however the writing was tired

by Maisey on 2023-01-02Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto

The acting ,singing, lyrics, set design, lighting and choreography were up the Ross Petty Productions high standards. The quality of the lead actors singing took my breath away at times. However the pacing of the story line that was written was uneven; slow in the first act, and moved along better in the second act. I am glad that I have experienced previous RPP as those will be my memories.
