  • Rupaul werq the world tour

by Heather on 2019-11-01Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing. I wondered why only 7 queens were part of the show. Those queens were stunning and so talented. Asia as host was brilliant! She is a natural. Only disappointed was that Rupaul was not there!

  • Amazing show

by Dash on 2019-10-31Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Amazing show. Very full theatre. Merch line was always full so allow a lot of extra time for merch. Ranges from $10-$60 if im correct.

  • Amazing!!!

by Fantoz on 2019-10-31Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

A riotous and energetic show full of great performances and excellent production values. A treat for hard core fans and general interest audiences alike. Very well done and very much improved since these tours originally started a few years ago.

  • Awesome experience!

by Lee on 2019-10-31Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a great event! Loved the marketplace in the lobby. What a production compared to a few years ago! Would definitely go again. Shame people were VAPING INDOORS- selfish idiots.

  • Not what I Expected at all!!!

by Tasha Jay9 on 2019-10-31Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

First off the show was really long, I left at intermission which was at about the 1 hour 45 minutes mark. I guess I shouldn't be complaining but I think if the show was more engaging I wouldn't be. I was thinking that it would be more along the lines of a variety show with the girls showcasing their talents, by way of comedy, skits, I unno anything but lip synching, I am well aware that they are highly proficient in that area. And although it was peppered in with Asia O'Hara's bits (which is honestly what was the highlight for me) it really was just theatrical lip synching with some (Yangie and MonetXChange killed it) being far better than others (Detox was a no for me). It lagged and was boring at times. I was really disappointed as I am an avid fan.

  • Werq the world was amazing

I had a smile on my face the entire time! Pure joy.

  • Worth every penny!

by N. n. on 2019-10-31Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show! Kept you in awe from start to finish! Extremely well done, I wish I went to the first one so I could have seen it twice

  • Excellent Show

by samanthadolly on 2019-10-23Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I travelled from out of town to see this show and it was fabulous. The performers were excellent and it was well worth the money (I was front row). One thing I was disappointed about was the amount of time I had with the queens during the Meet and Greet. It felt very rushed, bared any time to take photos and quickly chat. After the M&G we had to wait 90 minutes before the show started so it felt like there was still a lot of time they could have allowed. Otherwise, a very great show.

  • Beautiful venue

by HL on 2019-10-21Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

THE best drag show I've been to so far. Compared to last year's itinerary and venue, they definitely stepped up the production value this year. It made sense that this is a performing arts centre, the sound system was great. The seats were actually sloped at a proper angle so that everyone had a clear view. And the set on stage was gorgeous! Super easy and fast getting in and out despite the large amount of people attending.

  • Amazing!

by Lili on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing and absolutely blew my mind! Everything about it was visually stunning and exciting of I could I would go back again!

  • Phenomenal show. Well worth it.

by Spectacular show on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. Very well done. Loved every minute of it as did the 5 other people I went with. Can’t wait for next year.

  • Second half was fantastic

by Caper18 on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The first half of the show was full of slow songs and felt very low energy, which was disappointing. I understand doing the same show night after night can get tedious but perhaps using higher tempo songs would help the energy levels stay up. The second half, however, was fantastic! Aquaria's acrobatics and Asia's light show were the highlights! Asia is the best host, she's funny and charming and interacts with the audience. I'd go see her perform in any capacity. The dancers were PHENOMENAL . They were constantly on stage and didn't miss a mark. I'd go see anyone of them perform solo. Overall, a great show, would just be nice to have the show start off with more energy to set the tone for the night.

  • AMAZING!!!

I have never been more entertained in my life. Start to finish the show was completely amazing!! Been a Drag Race fan for 10 years so this was truly a dream come true for me . Will be going every year !!

  • Where were all the Queens?

by S. D. on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

After watching RuPaul my expectations were pretty high for this show. Some of the performances were amazing, and some were just so, so. I was disappointed that not all of the queens from the performance list were there. Perhaps I misunderstood the line-up? I flew in from another province for the show and was a little underwhelmed by the whole thing. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun, just not what I was expecting.

  • Werk the World Werked Toronto

by Pechuz on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The queens were great. High energy and most were very engaging in the meet and greet. The VIP meet and greet was well organized and I didn't feel rushed. The only issue was the sound at the venue. The Sony Centre (now Meridain Centre) has great acoustics. However the bass setting was WAY off at this event making the music difficult to hear and distorted. We were in row FF and at intermission the distortion of the bass was actually painful. This should have been caught at sound check. As I said, this venue has great acoustics and this was not used to its full potential.

  • What a Finale

by Aiden on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The individual performances were alright. From the back, I had no idea who was on the stage at times. It would be helpful if screens on either side of the stage had the name or a picture of the queen. The finale number made the whole show worthwhile. I loved the music. I would have liked to have seen the queens interacting with each other.

  • Amazing

by Pitbullfan on 2019-10-20Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

They put on a heart stopping show that had you gagging for more.

  • Yasss Queen!

by Manderz1989 on 2019-10-07Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The show gets a solid 5 stars, engaging performance you would expect from these amazing queens! Even the newest queens i didn't know ( Netflix has yet to air their seasons) My only issue is with the venue, which isn't really their fault..but the bartenders were very slow, which held up the line more that need. other than that, i will be going again if they come back <3

  • Amazing night of entertainment!

by krelley on 2019-10-05Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't really sure what to expect but the performance of all these drag queens were AMAZING. The dancers they have on stage are spectacular and really added to the performance. Their outfits, the sets and everything was crazy over the top and I loved it! Asia O'hara was the most amazing MC, so many hilarious jokes and acts, with a dazzling performance at the end. Paying homage to the Canadians in her performance in her dance, holy, loved that part. The segment with the audience was spectacular and the audience was great. Asia O'Hara knows how to pick her guests and how to keep it fun! Wow. It was a great performance that left me with a sore throat at the end of the night. I could not stop screaming! Thank you such a wild experience like no other! Freakin' amazing and entertaining.

  • Great show!

by A. Timur on 2019-10-04Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

RuPaul's Drag Race: Werq the World 2019 was great. The Queens were spectacular and the backup dancers were amazing. The only criticism that I had was that the music was too loud and the acoustics were terrible - but that could be the venue's fault. Overall, what an experience!
