So happy I took in this show. Russell Brand was absolutely amazing. Would definitely see him again!
I laughed the whole time!! I'ld definitely go see him again!
Loved Russel Brand. A hilarious non serious poke at a corporate takeover with real people he idolizes in an ironic twist. Way exceeded my expectations of entertainment. Worth every penny.
I knew I would enjoy the show, but Russell exceeded my expectations. He was intelligent, articulate, and funny. The theme was perfect, it allowed him to express his concerns and share a serious message in a way that only Russell could pull off. Fantastic!!!
From the moment he walked onstage to people screaming and standing in the aisles, to the final standing ovation, Russell Brand delivered a dynamic, energetic, and absolutely hysterical performance. His self-deprecating humour is equal parts intellectual and raunchy. We were in tears :). Can't wait for his next appearance!!
very funny and entertaining. Also very intense and thrilling.
Having seen Nikki Payne recently this year, which was one of the top comedic shows I have ever seen, russell Brand in comparison was just okay. There were a few moments that had me laughing hard, however thery were few and far between. Stick to comedy acting, not stand up comedy
Really liked the show and it's a great laugh. All adult age groups seemed to enjoy it.
He's hilarious, energetic, spiritual, intelligent and spreads a fabulous message.
He came out 30 min late, however it wasn't an easy wait bc you sit at the NAC without food or beverage unlike concert venues such as Canadian Tire centre - he was ok. Filled up some time walking through the crowd, but it wasn't really funny. His best moments were at the beginning, quite boring after an hour. His humour seem to just deteriorate at the end, very ridiculous and didnt seem to be connected to the logic of his commentary.
I have wanted to see Russell for years now. Glad I did! I was not disappointed. His brilliant mind, going as fast as can be, punctuated with his famous sexual references teamed up with his magnetic personality for an evening of complete fun!
My face hurt at the end of it, I was a bit worried going into it but he really did a great job. Very animated.
Russell was relevant, funny and so entertaining! He's brilliant.
Russell Brand was amazing. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time! We saw him at the River Rock Casino last fall and would love to see him live again! I loved how much he interacted with the audience!
I would see Russell Brand again! I wish the show went longer. I could have sat there for another hour and kept enjoying him!
I didn't go personally to the event, those tickets were for my son & he loved it. Apparently event was very good lots of fun & joyful time.
Disappointing. Russell started 30 minutes late and was only on stage for less than 1:30. He was completely unprepared and looked like he had just rolled out of bed to come on stage. Started to tell a long winded story about the Olympics and cut it short when he looked at the clock. I had tickets for Garbage that night and gave them up to see him instead. NEVER AGAIN!
Russell's stand up was hilarious and seemed a bit improved which made it even better! The only downside to the show was when he came out to meet fans afterwards. With such a small amount of fans waiting to meet him it would have made a lot more sense to have a sort of queue rather than have him just wander through the crowd
He was gross, disgusting and his language was filthy. My face hurt from laughing for 75min. straight. I saw him last year at River Rock and he did not disappoint. I look forward to seeing him again whenever possible.
Love Russell Brand, he's so funny, would see him again in a heartbeat and it was fantastic to meet him in the crowd afterwards. Hopefully he'll come back soon.
