Satsang Live in Concert
Formed after McManus returned from a backpacking trip in the Himalayas, Satsang was McManus' passion project, stating on their website, "I realized on that trip that you only get one shot at life, and if you've got a chance to utilize your talents and follow your dreams, then you've got to go for it. It gave me this renewed sense of purpose." The group attained almost immediate success, with their debut album, The Story of You, reaching more than 14 million streams and their sophomore album Pyramid(s) hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart and No. 2 on iTunes. Beginning their musical career by performing in small bars and clubs, Satsang has worked their way up, having now performed with Michael Franti & Spearhead and Nahko and Medicine for the People. With more than 180,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and top songs "I Am" and "Remember Jah'' combining for more than 16 million streams, Satsang have certainly made a name for themselves in a short period of time.
