My only negative comment would be that the intermission was probably unnecessary for such a young crowd. The little ones became quite restless. The show itself was fascinating for the toddlers.

    Elmo's Green Thumb was Excellent

    by Judge70 on 2010-05-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

We Loved it, the whole family enjoyed it. It was one of the best shows we have ever seen. We had floor seats, the characters came down and interacted with the kids, it was wonderful.

    Elmo"s Green Thumb was OK

    by walshp2 on 2010-05-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

Having seen the production "When Elmo Grows Up" last May, when it played in Toronto, I didn't find this production to be as exciting. It seemed to lack the luster that the other production had. I don't think the younger children really understood that the characters had shrunk. But of course we will probably see it again next year when it comes.

    Elmo is so cute!!!!

by Momtobeagain on 2010-05-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

I was not sure if my daughter would be able to sit through an hour an half of show BUT she did. she really enjoyed it; she wanted to be near the characters and play. The show was very entertaining, there was always something going on. As an old sesame street viewer, i really enjoyed seeing the characters (Big Bird, the count, etc..)

    Elmo

It was a pretty good show, a little slow and my son lost interest while watching it.

    Elmo was underwhelming...

by BGsMom on 2010-05-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

The Elmo show was okay but not great. I'm glad we just got the cheap seats because if we had paid more it would have been very disappointing...sets were minimal and the dancing/singing was very basic - have been to much more fun and worthwhile shows.

    Little guy had fun!!

by Neetu on 2010-05-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

It was a fantastic show and it was my little guy's first time and he loved it. He wanted to watch more even after it was finished... he kept on looking for Elmo and big bird everywhere. The only thing is that I think it was a little pricy... I think kids should be half price.. they don't even take up the seat as my son sat on my lap the whole time. Other than that, i think the show was great and every parent should take their kids to one of these shows.

We really did not enjoy the show and neither did our two year old. There were no familiar songs that the kids knew and the theme wasn't very interesting, nor did it get their attention.

    Elmo's Green Thumb

by EstherT on 2010-05-24Rogers Centre - Toronto

What a great show. My grandson loved it. He worried that if he went to the restroom during intermission, it would restart without him. The music was tremendous, the storyline was interesting and we enjoyed every minute.

    The show lacks in variety

by RAPHAEL on 2010-05-24Rogers Centre - Toronto

The show was just a so-so, kind of boring. All they do is just sing and dance which bore a lot of children. It is lacking in variety. Not much surprises, not much effects. Its completely boring. Had they put more variety on it like the ones children see on TV, then it would be much better. I'd rather let my children watch TV than to see this show. On TV there are lots of learning, lots of activities, and hilarious snippets for kids. But in this show there aren't much. They just sing and dance the entire show. Not enough props too. Wasted my money, it's not worth it.

Great dancing and story line kept children engaged. A lot of fun and liked how characters came down into the audience to wave at the kids and shake their hand or give a hug.

    1st concert

    by HappyMom6 on 2010-05-23Rogers Centre - Toronto

Elmo and his friends had my 2 year old son captivated the whole time. I did not know what to expect as this was his 1st concert. I didn't think he would sit still but I gave it a try. He didn't sit stll...he was bouncing in his seat and dancing in front of his chair the entire show. It was a perfect length in time and the intermission was timed right. Hi still tells everyone who will listen, who he saw. He mentions all the characters. Great job!!! I can't wait for the next tour.

    Awesome Elmo Show

by Gisella on 2010-05-23Rogers Centre - Toronto

My 2.5 year old daughter just loved the Elmo show. I recommend everyone to take their kids to this. The show was truly AWESOME, ENTERTAINING & LIVELY. The music was upbeat and so much fun. We had floor seats and we also had the opportunity to interact with the characters. All the kids were screaming the characters names at the beginning of the show as they appeared. It's also entertaining for the adults. A must see!

    Elmo's Green Thumb was boring.

    by peaches13 on 2010-05-23Rogers Centre - Toronto

I took my 4 year old niece to the show. It wasn't as interactive as I hoped. My niece lost interest after about 15 minutes. The songs were not engaging, and the story was boring. It would have been nice if some of the songs were ones that kids would already know, so they could sing along. More audience participation would have kept the kids engaged more. I saw many kids around me playing more with their toys each other than watching the show. Disappointing.

    Snubbed by Zoe

by MeowMo on 2010-05-23Rogers Centre - Toronto

My nephew loved seeing the characters in real life. He is 18 months old and was just excited to see Elmo and the gang. He was not interested in the story at all which was a good thing as I could barely make out what the characters where saying. The crowd was too loud and the sound was not loud enough. It was also disappointing to see the characters only interact with the first row and sometimes the second row. We were in the third row and my nephew reached out to a few of the characters that came by but because we didn't pay for the special tickets the characters ignored us and everyone else beyond the first 2 rows...very disappointing. It felt that it didn't matter that we were there...the characters were only interested in entertaining the first 2 rows.

This sesame street presentation wasn't as good as others in the past. Characters weren't out in the audience like at other shows shaking the kids hands etc. Story line a bit hard for the kids to understand, lost interest by time intermission started.

Can't go wrong with Sesame Street!

by teacherlady on 2010-05-23Rogers Centre - Toronto

This was our third Sesame Street Live event and as usual, it was a big hit. The folks at SS really get family entertainment - from change tables on floor level to characters circulating amongst the kids in floor seats to reasonably priced and great merchandise. We love all the friends saying hello and that we could take the music home with us! We'll be back next time they are in town :)
