    Average performance

by Poochi on 2017-05-28Woodbine Concert Hall - Etobicoke

Shaggy was late starting the show yet he ended on time. I feel he should have extended his performance to make up for his being late. Overall it was a good show.

This is a don't miss show!!!

by CoYo on 2013-11-24Commodore - Vancouver

Shaggy and entourage are amazing. Sounded really great, with a good variety of songs. Made you want to get up and dance. It's a real treat to see an artist of his caliber at a venue like the Commodore. Thanks for an awesome evening Shaggy!

    Shaggy Concert Worth the Wait

by Shaggyfan on 2010-08-16Sound Academy - Toronto

My ticket was for a 5 pm concert at Polson Pier. The doors were supposed to open at 6 pm, so my husband (who was very reluctant to come along), and I arrived at 5:30 pm. Relaxed, beachy atmosphere -- free tastings of Malibu, reggae music, good vibes. The doors opened and I was very excited to see Shaggy -- loved him since I was in high school! We got right to the front and danced to the DJ's music. At 7 pm -- still no Shaggy! But instead, there was an opening band which was kind of folksy, fight the "Man"type -- they tried hard, but it was the wrong crowd/venue for them. At 8 pm -- still no Shaggy (at this point, I'd been on heels for 3 hours, was starting to get a little hungry, and had stopped drinking because I didn't want to miss his opening when I was in the washroom). The DJ was fun, but wow, this was a long wait...At 9 pm -- finally, Shaggy came on stage! He came out with the shiny microphone in his belt buckle and captivated his Toronto crowd every second he was on stage with his booming voice, gyrating hips and flashy smile! It was a bit more rock'n roll than reggae sometimes, but all good fun. I think he would have liked a more vibrant Toronto crowd (I was very into it -- but many were quiet), but I think everyone was a bit tired from standing around for 4 hours before the concert started. Promoters should take that into consideration next time. We could have arrived at 7 pm -- still enjoyed the DJ, Polson Pier patio and had plenty of time to get into the door to see Shaggy! Anyways, I hope he comes back again soon! Good times!

    big up shaggy

He's still got it. Great show at the sound academy last night. He didn't disappoint playing lots of his oldies as well his newer stuff. Church heathen, my personal favourite, sounded great. Crowed was really into it and enjoyed the show. Why is there no dj or dancing after the main attraction, everyone was in the mood to dance and continue the party. They lost so much revenue in drinks!!
