  • Wait time ridiculous, Wailers Great

    The ticket showed concert time was 8pm. Upon arrival at 7:30pm we were told that the doors opened at 8pm. Then we were told that the Wailers would be on at 10:30 pm and that there was a backup band starting at 9pm. No mention of this on the ticket. Shorgly before 7:30 pm we secured the only available parking underground which closed at 11:30 pm. My husband had to leave the Commodore at 11pm to go find additional parking. Our total parking cost was $35. We are very upset about this. Tickets should state additional bands that will come on before the main act. As we had a reserved table we wouldn't have had to arrive so early. We came to see the Wailers, nobody else. The Wailers were great.

  • Authentic roots reggae at its best

    I've seen hundreds of reggae performances and this was a top 10 show without a doubt. The drum and bassline were second to none and lead vocals were so close to Bob Marley's voice that it was almost a reincarnation. If you want to see an excellent reggae show then this is not to be missed.

    First time to studio; cool venue We were told to come back for 7pm for best seats.. we did but the seats in the back ended up being blocked by everyone in front.. lesson to take balcony next time Lead up to the show was a DJ… really? After an hour excellent show great band and leader Thanks

    Great crowd good vibes To recreate the evening you would have to have Bob Marley there. Not being able to be out due to Covid over the last couple of years made this venue very special for me.

    Such a great atmosphere, excellent music and incredible to see a room full of people smiling, dancing and signing along to some of the greatest songs ever made. Their new songs are great too and I would recommend listening to their newer albums too.

    Glad you asked as I wasn’t very impressed. The opening band played for ever (likely to cover for the late arrival of “special guests”), there was a surprise award ceremony - - nice but way too long with various speakers, and then the Wailers came on after 10:30 and performed to shortly after 12:00. I have seen many better shows at the Commodore.

    Awesome experience, fabulous show, total energy, justice was given to an iconic band, beautiful venue, great staff, felt well taken care of. Bob would of been proud!!
