What a phenomenal show. It's by far the best show I've seen in a long long time. Kudos to everyone involved in this production. Amazing! Spectacular!

    Shrek fantastic

by Wilsonreview on 2013-12-03Arden Theatre - St Albert

The kids loved it. They dint fuss or fidget at all. I will be watching for more shows coming and will be bringing the kids and the rest of the family. I loved that there was some adult humour but kids didn't get. Throughly enjoyed.

    Shrek

by Bush on 2013-12-02Arden Theatre - St Albert

Hard to believe that this was the children's theatre. The show was outstanding with performances by the donkey, the dragon, and the three Fionas. Most incredible was the performance by the lead, Shrek himself. Vocals were spot on, even though he appear to be struggling with a bit of a cough, it never interfered with his performance. Lord Farquar was funny and spot on to character

    Shrek-the Musical

by smsm on 2013-11-26Arden Theatre - St Albert

This show is for all ages! Took my 7yr old niece and I think I had more fun than her. The singing was awesome. Loved the mix of adults and youth together on this collaboration Great job. Awesome costumes and was very impressed with the sets. Although a tad long (2 1/2 hrs- including intermission), it was an excellent show and would highly recommend this performance.

Shrek by SACT was definitely worth seeing!

by agendre on 2013-11-26Arden Theatre - St Albert

We weren't sure what to expect from such a young set of actors when we went to see this show but were blown away by the quality and professional level of work by this young group! It was obviouslly well rehearsed and all of the kids seemed to take great pride and enjoyment in their roles. Many good laughs and a very good telling of the story and the characters and voices were done extremely well!

    Pick good seats!

by Jodyryan78 on 2013-11-26Arden Theatre - St Albert

at the Arden, we sat second row from the front and the 4 seats to the very left. I would choose seats more to the middle as the sound of the actors was hard to hear over the music speakers

    Loved it

by goliz on 2010-09-06Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I absolutely loved Shrek the Musical. This was one of the best musicals I have watched... way better than the Lion King and on par with or better than Beauty and the Beast. It was so funny, engaging, witty, creative, and I can't wait for it to come to our city. My husband and I brought our 3 year old and he was attentive the whole time.

    Shrek was delightful!

    by Pack2bags on 2010-08-31Cadillac Palace - Chicago

We very much enjoyed Shrek the Musical. The actors are all wonderful, funny and the characters they play endearing. I especially liked the antics of Donkey and his bantering with Shrek, and the visual illusions of Dragon. A fun "to do " when visiting the Chicago Theater district. I would not recommend for very young children.
