Jazz music before, photo booth (4/5, should've been sepia not black and white), and then the movie....
OMG almost my whole life I've known the image of Harold Lloyd hanging from that clock but never saw the movie until this week!! It was hilarious, better than most romcoms these days; the whole audience was belly laughing almost all the way through. I enjoyed it SOOOO much I'm buying tickets for the other two and hoping that the Orpheum will extend the series, perhaps with Nosferatu around Halloween, and Metropolis , the Cabinet of Dr Caligari, etc etc. I would love to book a Monday a month to watch these awesome movies.
Oh, and the appearance of Lloyd's granddaughter to introduce and then reminisce after was amazing! I felt like I was living in history. Such a great night.
