SILVERSTEIN IN CONCERT:
Since bursting onto the scene in 2000, Canadian post-hardcore outfit Silverstein has consistently wowed audiences with their energetic, adrenaline-filled concerts. Their setlists pull from all seven of their studio albums and feature longtime favorites "Vices", "Bleeds No More", and "Smile In Your Sleep" alongside recent singles like "Stand Amid The Roar" and "Massachusetts". Frontman Shane Told pours his heart out onstage, alternating between soft melodic croons and thunderous screamo yells. The rest of the band radiates passion, from Paul Koehler's relentless drumming to bassist Billy Hamilton's guttural growling. Silverstein’s emotionally charged renditions of their aggressive, melodic songs are sure to leave their ravenous fans begging for more.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Silverstein formed in Ontario, Canada in 2000 and released their first EP, Summer's Stellar Gaze, later that year. Since 2001 the five-piece's lineup has consisted of lead singer and keyboardist Shane Told, guitarists Paul Marc Rousseau and Josh Bradford, bassist Billy Hamilton, and drummer Paul Koehler. In 2002 the band penned a deal with Victory Records and released their debut album, When Broke Is Easily Fixed, the following year. Their sophomore release, 2005's Discovering The Waterfront, introduced faster punk rock influences and cracked the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 chart. Over the next decade they released five more studio albums, including 2013's This Is How The Wind Shifts. Silverstein excels in live performance and is known for their extensive touring -- they've played in more than 40 countries alongside bands like Rise Against, Hawthorne Heights, The Devil Wears Prada, Blessthefall, and A Day To Remember. In 2014 they announced plans for a world tour to mark the 10th anniversary of Discovering The Waterfront, as well as a brand new studio album, I Am Alive In Everything I Touch.

The sound is perfect! The music is perfect! The message is so true! And is the best band ever! ( I talk about For Today) We don't heard the sream in the begining of the Devil Wears Prada turn's! But the show is so great!
Thumbs up to For Today and The Devils. Great bands!!
For Today was awesome and so was Silverstein, but The Devil Wears Prada was soo sick... best concert i'ver been to, i even got to talk with 4 band members from For Today and Silverstein plus i got my shirt signed by Silverstein's vocalist Shane.
Amazing show from all bands. Great stage presence from The Devil Wears Prada. Silverstein is just amazing every time I see them!
BEST CONCERT EVER. GREAT VENUE, GREAT BANDS. JUST AWESOME
This show was amazing! Especially seeing my friends in I Am Commiting A Sin play such a great show. If you have never heard of them go check them out on facebook or myspace! I'm not a huge fan of ADTR but they put on a good show live! I was really surprised how good Ten Second Epic was live, I heard they werent that good! BUT OMG AMAZING! Silverstein, of course, was bomb! Me and My best friend stuck out the whole show in the front row in the centre, getting hit and bruised up from crowd surfers, but in our opinion it was so worth it!
The entire show was just simply awesome. Nothing was disappointing. Better then Warped. I can't really think of words to describe how I felt teh show really was. (:
Great great show. I missed I Am Committing a Sin due to stupid Toronto traffic, but I met them afterwards and bought a cd from them. Ten Second Epic was good. It seemed that they got tired easily though. A Day to Remember was fantastic live but of course, Silverstein stole the show being amazing as always. Rob Dyer came on stage before A Day to Remember played and talked a bit about Skate4Cancer. After the show, the band just hung around the venue and the booths. It was really easy to meet anyone you wanted to.
This concert was amazing, the best I have ever been to. Great bands, great venue
such a great show all 4 bands and the acoustic artist that i heard for the last 30 seconds ROCKED! best group of the night A DAY TO REMEMBER!
Amazing show. The crowd was lively, and they kept the pit moving throughout the entire show. I went mostly for A Day To Remember, and they definetly did NOT dissapoint. Silverstein was very good too. I was so happy that they played a lot of their older stuff, since that's all I really know by them. Overall, a really good show. If you missed it, you better go next time! :)
this was an absolutely amazing show, this is my third time seeing this band and every time they exceed expectations. the crowd was going nuts, i may have broke this random chicks nose. as for the band, they played their stuff flawlessly as usual. I missed all the opening bands cept a day to remember, and they were pretty amazing themselves.
The bands were awsome!!!!the mosh pits were great! the crowd was hot and excited! loved it!!!
i have to say, if I could put one night on reply for the rest of my life, it would be September 24th. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE!!!!!!!! everything was perfect and the mosh pits were brutal.
Oh my god!!! they are incredible! i have seen them four times already and i am totally going to go to their shows again! they always deliver and the amount of bruises that i have on me only proves that it was a crazy awesome show!!!!
This concert was the bomb! The lead singer sounded great, and it was actually the first concert that I have ever been to before, and I must say that I was very impressed!! They were always on key, and for a lot of bands to sing live, that can prove a bit difficult, but Silverstein definitely pulled it off! They chose songs that got the crowd really going and really got you into the music! I loved it! I would definitely go again and have already reccommended this group to my friends. I got the chance to meet some of the members of the band after the concert, and they were quite friendly and very happy to talk with you. I loved this concert!
Silverstein put on a wicked show. It was awesome! This was my second time seeing them, and my boyfiends seventh time. A Day To Remember were really good also, never heard much of them before but definately would go see them again.
This was such a good show. My rundown on the bands:The first act a solo act Brendan Rivera good but i didnt think it was really the right feel for that show. I have never heard of I Am Committting A sIn but they put out a good preformance it didnt really get the crowd going though. I have never seen a mosh pit so into Ten Second Epic and i have seen them 3 times as they where opening for various other bands. I was really impressed with Winnipeg for giving them a shot being that they are quit different from A Day To Remember and Silverstein. The mosh pit for A Day To Remember very high energy and intense they put on a good preformance and the cover of The Fray! Now Silverstein pulled out a really good show that was not worth missing. But wow do some people suck at crowd surfing. And Rod Dyer from Skate for cancer was there that was coool I love all shows at the Garrick havn't been to one bad one yet =]
The night was unforgettable! Stagediving, crowd surfing, cicrle pits! What a great combo with a great line up of bands! One of the best Shows I've seen yet in my life!... This was the third time i seen Silverstein live and the first for the other 3 and it was amazing! Totally unforgettable!
