  • Amazing Showcase of Diverse Perspectives

The Skydiggers brought together a diverse group of talented individuals in a truly Canadian showcase of talent. Bravo !

  • Chaotic concert and NAC

by Malina on 2021-12-07National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 1 out of 5

Too many artists on the stage, all types snd category of artists, artists are after-Covid not groomed, depressed Jill Barber is wearing 5 years old the same dress: sings about joined accounts, no spaces or any covid precautions in the audience: no spaces between groups of people, long and mixed quality concerts, no technology involved , no showy technology.

  • I Dig the Diggers !

by Ray from Edmonton (and Trail Bc) on 2021-12-07National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

I’m currently working away from my BC home here in Ottawa. What a thrill it was to see the Skydiggers once again and hear some of my favourite songs. The guys always sound good and are entertaining. I brought a friend of mine who is a Skydigger virgin. He absolutely loved the music and the show. Hope to see you again boys! Your friend Ray!

  • So great!

What an amazing evening! So much variety, so great to hear old songs and the banter on stage etc. You guys still have it! And Jill Barber was amazing too (tho I wish she had at least one song where she sang about her love for her kids not just about the stressors of them…but anyway it wasn’t recorded to YouTube or anything so they won’t be in psychotherapy for 20 hrs after, hopefully…)

  • Skydiggers an friends

Great venue. Great to see Skydiggers with Peter Cash in the fold. Great to hear many of their best songs played. Nice to haveother folks come on stage but would rather just hear Skydiggers tunes.

  • Canadiana at its best

by Hammer on 2019-12-24The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

An Amazing Annual Event. Well worth the drive to Toronto. The Diggers alone put on a super show but add the other Iconic artists and you have a tribute to Canadian music! The venue change was welcome and allowed for a more enjoyable evening.

  • Skydiggers no match for NAC

by frwpgmb on 2014-12-15National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 1 out of 5

Being regular patrons to Skydiggers concerts we were less than impressed with the surroundings of the show at the NAC. It pales in comparison to legendary spots like the Horseshoe and the Black Sheep to see this band. Opening the sponsored concert series with almost an infomercial by a local TV evening news personality evaporated all of the independent folk rocker culture the Skydiggers had been able to foster over the years. Admittedly the sounds was much clearer than other venues but the soul of the experience was lost. The NAC should quit trying to be a small venue or do something off site.

  • Skydiggers were amazing.

Again...another amazing night with the Skydiggers. The 4th Stage just made that more memorable and intimate. Thanks NAC for having such a great venue.

  • by 2Annonymous4U on 2013-10-26Winter Garden Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing venue! The Winter Garden Theatre was the perfect place to enjoy the music of the Skydiggers. What a great surprise to have had the Cash Brothers and many other artists on stage with them. I highly recommend to anyone to attend any venue at the Garden Theatre.

  • Skydiggers great as usual - venue not so much

by Turquoise on 2013-10-23Winter Garden Theatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The skydiggers were fantastic as usual and I left with the same great feeling I always have after seeing them live. However, seeing them at this venue where everyone just sits in their seats and there were 20 minute breaks after every few songs was not very conducive to a "rockin" evening. Two more months to the Christmas convert!!!!!

  • Was even better than expected

by sgc52 on 2013-06-02Molson Canadian Studio at Hamilton Place - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Talented, creative, eccentric artists who engaged with the audience while playing tight, amazing music. Loved the sound....also loved the energy. Thanks for a great night.

The band was very tight, but it turned into another NDP rally. Just sing the songs Andy.

The Skydiggers always put on an excellent show - I have never been disappointed. The new songs sound great, and of course, they still play the old hits - but their sound continues to evolve as the band lineup evolves. This is reflected in the the freshness of the music and the band's obvious enthusiasm to perform

  • What a great show!

Terrific performance by the band. Wonderful voices and harmonies. Great stage presence most notably by Andy Maize. Loved it!
