Rating: 5 out of 5 Skydiggers rock on...
by skydiggingit on 2009-12-21The Horseshoe Tavern - TorontoI really enjoyed the opening band The Future Hall a Famers, but The Skydiggers brought it up a notch, so to speak. The energy, the politics spoken, the feel of the fans, and the music were incredibly entertaining on a cold Friday night in TO. I recently saw The Skydiggers at Hillside, but at the Horseshoe it was much more intimate and fun. They made you feel like family. Shin a ding a ling. I was thrilled to see Paul MacLeod accompany the band and to sing one of his songs. Rock on! It was a great way to start the Christmas season...dancing the night away and singing along with The Skydiggers.

by kidsrule21 on 2009-11-29AVENUE THEATRE - EDMONTONI love the Skydiggers and have seen them many times in the last 20 years. This show was just as good as anything they have done in the past. They are fantastic entertainers and never disappoint. It was great to see them in a smaller venue, and I loved that they came out and talked to fans after the show. Another great night!

Rating: 5 out of 5 The Skydiggers show was fantastic!
by bojo on 2009-11-29AVENUE THEATRE - EDMONTONI just don't understand why the Skydiggers have not "taken off" like Blue Rodeo. Their lead singer has an unforgettable voice, the band harmonizes beautifully, and they have some of the best song writing in the country. Last night, all of this was evident, and yet there were not nearly as many people as I expected. I didn't see any advertising for the concert, so maybe the problem is in the promotion - I just got lucky and googled them after we shaw Cuddy and Keelor at the Brinx nightclub a few weeks back. I will see the Skydiggers each and every time they come to Edmonton, and I hope they come back soon!!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Diggin' the Skydiggers
by muzefan on 2009-11-28The Gateway - CalgaryThe Skydiggers were great in the small Gateway venue - up close and personal with the audience. Sound was clear and not too loud, featuring Andy's vocals and some great Hammond organ solos. We were very entertained, but it's too bad they didn't play a longer set as there were more songs we wanted to hear. Gateway staff: clean the stage up for your performers. It's cheap looking when there's unused mic stands laying around and a rundown look to it all.
Rating: 4 out of 5 The "diggers" still rock
by cooter1 on 2009-11-28The Gateway - CalgaryHaven"t seen the Skydigger's in over 12 years, but they still bring the music and energy they did back then. The catchy tunes and the lead singers mannerisms and dance moves are worth the price of admission!
