    Best show I’ve ever seen

by Thom1 on 2017-12-16Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Astonishing; breath taking; brilliantly conceived and exceptionally performed show, not a concert. I’m almost speechless. Entirely unique creation from beginning to end. It’s one of the most satisfying pieces of theatre I have ever seen. Unforgettable!

    Outstanding!!

by btkk on 2017-12-10Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Springsteen on Broadway was a spectacular show. Seeing Bruce in such an intimate venue was amazing. It was everything I hoped it would be and absolutely worth every penny! The venue itself is also outstanding. The sound in there was the best I have ever heard. The show felt as though it was a gift to the fans from Bruce. It was perfect.

    Thoughtful boss

by JKen on 2017-11-27Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

This event was better than my high expectations. Being a big fan I am nevertheless uninterested in Springsteens personal life. Yet the anecdotes regarding his mom and dad were deeply touching and relateable. This was a moving performance that I believe anyone will find transforming.

    Bruce was Born to Entertain!

by RickGG on 2017-11-27Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Bruce laid everything on the line in his Springsteen on Broadway show. He put the audience on an intimate and emotional roller coaster ride throughout the show. It was special that his wife Patti Scialfa also joined him on stage for part of the performance. The smaller theatre setting added to the intimate feeling. In the end it was an awesome experience!

    Glorious!

by Merryn on 2017-11-22Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

I travelled a long way to see this performance, and this was my second night. I am so very glad that I came - it was worth all the effort to get here. I loved seeing this show again. The words were the same, more or less, but the presentation shifted in subtle, perfect ways so that it was not the same as last night at all. It is a brilliant, beautiful show, and I wish I could come back for more nights. Bruce's words and songs wrapped together in a way that carried us joyfully through the evening. His stories touched our hearts, and came straight from his. It really was magic.

    Intense and personal.

by Hardcorepetty on 2017-11-22Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

This is not a concert. It is a polished set piece, with equal parts music and spoken word. It includes glimpses of Bruce's life growing up in New Jersey, in addition to parts of his life as an adult. It excludes a lot. Do not expect a full autobiography. He has his book for that. The performance works best with fans and those who already know his story. The audience applauded and whooped it up in a few spots. But for the most part, they were quiet and glued to their seats...listening intently at what was being said. Bringing out his wife for 2 songs did not add a lot to the show, other than to demonstrate his dedication to Patti, and show how big a part of him she has become. It was nice to have the performance in such a small theater. It really added to the intimacy. He is a consummate pro. The audience was mostly made up of dedicated long-time fans (who else would pay the exorbitant ticket prices) who were eating out of his hand. The night was like sharing an intimate conversation with a friend. That is what he was trying to do. Mission accomplished. Highly recommended for any fan.

    Extraordinary show

by Merryn on 2017-11-21Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

This was an amazing experience - not a concert, not a book reading, but a beautiful performance in every way. The spoken parts and the songs fit together perfectly. It was clearly very well and thoughtfully planned, and yet, Bruce spoke with so much warmth and humour that it felt entirely natural. The music was fantastic, and the duets with Patti were perfect. Bruce played two songs - My Father's House, and The Wish - I have never heard at a concert . I loved every minute, and was sorry when it was over, and also filled with happiness.

    Bruce on Broadway

by HaliTheRising on 2017-11-14Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Super performance by Bruce Springsteen! What an amazing voice. My one complaint is with the theater. I was in 6th row center and for much of the show I was distracted by a steady hum or buzz most noticeable when Bruce wasn't playing or singing. Maybe it was the teleprompter?

    Springsteen was AMAZING!!

by Katarin on 2017-11-12Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Loved the show from start to finish. Bruce captivated the audience and kept us hanging on his every word. He was very entertaining and surprisingly quite funny while he shared stories of his life. Loved the songs done acoustically and the sound was phenomenal in the theatre. It was a very intimate feel to the show even though there were over 900 people in attendance. At times you could hear a pin drop while Bruce recounted memories of friends, band mates and family. It was the quietest Springsteen show I have ever experienced! Well worth the ticket price.

    Best show ever!

by LoverU2 on 2017-10-31Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Bruce is truly an amazing person. Being able to see him in this manner was beyond my wildest dreams. I just wish I could have gone back again and again.... Don’t ever stop Bruce! Only problem with the venue is having a larger person or persons sitting right in front of you. Otherwise the theater was so wonderful. Had a full view when he was on guitar and a very restricted view when on the piano. Sound was incredible for sure!

Words cannot describe the incredible journey Bruce led us on for just over 2 hours. Worth every American penny! If tickets were available, I'd fly down to NYC and do it all over again.

    Springsteen Live

by Mustangtuna on 2017-10-29Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

AMAZING! I have been a fan for 3 decades and this show was one of the best. To here Bruce sing the songs with just his guitar or piano music was just so pure. The sound in the theatre was crystal clear. His story gave the songs more meaning.

Springsteen on Broadway - Out of this world!

by Anonymous on 2017-10-23Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

Only smokes is all I can really say. It was beyond words. It wasn't a concert, it was a show. Something unlike I've ever seen before. The Boss wants to thanks his fan for coming along on his journey and help explain a little where his work comes from. He has a message and now he has a stage. He lets his music speak for itself and he let's people know how he feels and why. The playlist..... one critic says obscure, I say perfect. The songs, Growing Up, the Wish had me in tears with their stories. My Hometown and Long Walk Home amazing!!! An inspiring Thunder Road, an angry Born in the USA and a hopeful Promised Land. Tenth Avenue Freeze Out and how 1+1=3. Brilliant Disguise with Patti and letting somebody in. Despite all, he remains hopeful and puts his dancing shoes on for Dancing in the Dark and rolls right into a POWERFUL Land of Hope and Dreams. Finally finishes where he started, back in his hometown with the Lord's Prayers and thanks his fans for coming along the journey with him and finishes with Born to Run! WOW....As a fan, Bruce, thanks for bringing me along your journey.

    Springsteen on Broadway

by 10987654321 on 2017-10-20Walter Kerr Theatre - New York

We laughed. We cried. We were, from our front row seats, sitting in the presence of greatness. Bringing to life the stories from his book. Expensive but so worth it. Once in a lifetime experience.
