by Python46 on 2013-08-07East 542 Music Fest, Deming Logging Show Grounds - Deming Washington, U.S.A. July 13, 2013Rating: 5 out of 5Steve Augeri and The Steve Augeri Band Continue to Tour across the U.S and have been wowing crowds with Journey’s Hits and Steve’s Hits too. Steve isn’t just one of Journey’s lead singers , Steve Augeri’s resume has put him in the front of a some great 80’s and 90’s bands. Tall Stories and Tyketto are two of these bands. Steve’s departure from Journey was like all show business break-ups, it too has it’s stories. Steve fell victim to a lead singer’s worst nightmare, throat problems, which led to surgery and the departure from Journey. Journey had 3 former lead singers before him and another two since Steve Augeri left Journey. Steve is most remembered for his fantastic rock and roll time with Journey and emotional and entertaining ability on stage as a front man! Today he has The Steve Augeri Band and this show ROCKS! I look at the whole package and this package is fantastic! Through Journey’s hits and Steve’s solo work, the show was the headliner for Saturday’s East 542 Music Fest lineup on after Fran Cosmo singing Boston’s Hits. Steve sang his recent song, Hours in the Day. It's very reminiscent of the great music from the 80’s. Performing on stage with Steve in Deming Washington is his band. The Steve Augeri Band consists of the super talented Adam Holland on guitar, Gerard Zappa Bass guitar, Keyboards, Craig Pullman, on Drums Michael Morales and with two sexy backing Vocalists -Sally Blandon and Erica Iozzo. We all know why we were there. To sing along with all our favorite Journey songs with one of Journey’s favorite singers. This show delivered and I recommend it for a great night out. Rock And Roll! Thanks Steve for a memorable night and Don’t Stop Believing !
