    Deadpan Hero

by Tudor32 on 2016-01-12Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

This show was awesome... packed house, Steven kept us laughing all night... for the price of $60.00 , the seats were perfect, eight rows back , pretty well on the center isle. If you haven't had a chance to catch a show at the Hard Rock , I don't know what you are waiting for... My only complaint would be no Hard Rock Restaurant at the Casino. Trip Advisor lists so many reasons to eat elsewhere and then come to the show.... Would be nice if they could actually put a Hard rock eatery here instead of just putting up the name....

    Steven Wright

by lukesoup on 2013-01-22River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

OMG my sides are still hurting :-)! Steven Wright is amazing to say the least. He was on time....tks Steven, and in true form. Didn't know he was such an accomplished guitarist and singer HAHA. We had a great time and laugh for one and a half hours straight, hence my sore sides. Would see him again and again.

    Stephen Wright

by Hillarystep on 2010-10-24Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

I am sorry to report, after seeing Stephen many times, this particular show I had a great deal of trouble hearing him and making out what he was saying. I have never had this problem before at River Rock . He seemed to be muttering his words and at a very low volume. Sorry but did not enjoy this show due to that fact.

    Steven Wright was hilarious

by Beedg on 2010-10-24Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

From 2 simple words to a 5 minute tyrade, Mister Wright was all that and more... I have admired his whit for over 2 decades. This was my first chance to see this unique artist. The venue was awsome and the crowed was ready. Steven walked out to a warm welcome and didn"t stop untill he was done, except to sip some water that he maintains he made (1 part H - 2 parts O...I trust no body). I swear the crowd spent half the time curled over with laughter. The concert started late but the hour and a halve performance was well worth the delay. He may not be at the top of everyones comedic of choice list I But I can honestly say if you like the dry whit, Steven is the top choice.

    Steven Wright... Simply Hilarious

by Rickity on 2010-10-24Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Steven Wrights performance was my first at The Red Robinson Show theater. From the moment Steve walked out on stage to the very end of his performance he had everyone in the place in pieces. He has a style that's all his own, and in his whole performance he only swore maybe 4 times. (he didn't have to) He is a true showman. I will definitely go the the Red Robinson Theater to see his show again.

    Steven was absolutely fantastic!

by red777 on 2010-10-24Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

My husband has always thought that Wright was a superb comedian. I had only seen him a few years back on tv. Noticing that he was coming to the Red Robinson Show Theatre, I decided to buy tix for an early anniversary present for my hubby. What a great choice of gift! My husband and I laughed so hard all evening! Wright put on the best comedy show we have ever seen!!! He delivers his comedy in such a droll, deadpan way which is absolutely brilliant! We enjoyed the concert so much that we went home after the show and bought Wright's 2 cd's and dvd right away on Amazon.com!!!!

    A Legend!

by Puppies on 2010-02-02Convocation Hall - Toronto

I took my teenage son and my husband to see Steven Wright as a late Christmas present. We loved the venue (Convocation Hall) it was intimate and lovely. The show was lots of fun and we were thrilled to be so close to such a legend. This is something that we will always remember.

    Wright stuff

by Follow on 2010-02-02Convocation Hall - Toronto

Steven was as dry as ever. King of the one liners. I only wish I made notes! ..."My grandfather died when he was six." One and a half hours of stuff that kept the audience laughing. I am not sure about Stevens mental state. He comes across as a little suicidal and eccentric. Could just be his act, who knows...

    Wright was hillarious

    by Klink53 on 2010-02-01Convocation Hall - Toronto

It was somewhat difficult to hear everything that Steven was saying at the beginning of the show as he was either mumbling or the audio was not good. But once he got going, and about 15 minutes into the show you could hear him better and he was very funny. His material was great and the presentation was amazing.

    Wright Wrocks

    by wise123451 on 2010-02-01Convocation Hall - Toronto

Steven Wright is funny from the moment he emerges from the curtain, with his ill-fitting suit, long beard and crazy eyes. his routine begins right away and he fires zingers one after the other. his guitar solos are dazzling. I loved the show.

    Stephen Wright Standup

by drvanski on 2010-02-01Convocation Hall - Toronto

Stephen kept the audience laughing from beginning to end with his offbeat one-liners. Great to see the stand-up icon in the flesh at a small venue.
