Halestorm was probably the best vocal show I've seen in a long time. Lzzy is absolutely amazing live.
What a show! I had never seen SS before, and they did not disappoint. Corey Taylor is a fantastic entertainer. He was all out, balls to the ball from the first second to the last! Halestorm is a band I will never miss when they come to town. Lzzy Hale has one of the best voices in music. I'm already anticipating their next visit! I had never heard of The Dead Deads prior to the show, but I went home and downloaded a bunch of their stuff.
Concert was amazing and VIP was even better and meeting Halestorm made my day!
What can I say...was Corey Taylor...the man never disappoints
If I had to choose two bands to see over again, it would be these two for sure! Rocked the stage, rocked the music and loved every second of it! Even the opening band the dead dead’s were pretty fantastic too!
Halestorm played a heavy and heartfelt show. The set was over an hour long, which is pretty good for the opener. The played a mix of old and new, including I Am the Fire, Apocalyptic, Mayhem, Dear Daughter, a brief Adele cover, Get Off, and a kick ass version of Mz. Hyde that I hadn't seen before. This was my 4th time seeing Halestorm, and probably the best I've seen them live. Arejay is amazing on the drums, truly one of the best in hard rock. Lzzy looks awesome with the mohawk, and it's great to see the response she gets from the crowd. Stone Sour played approximately 80 minutes. Corey announced that their lead guitarist was unable to be with us, as he had 'medical issues'. But, the new guy and the rest of the band didn't seem to be to affected. Frontman Corey Taylor was very good with crowd involvement, and the band seemed like they were having a good time. I think we heard 4 songs from Hydrgrad, including Song 3, Rose Red Violent, and Fabuless (which was the finisher, complete with wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men). We also heard Through Glass, and a couple from House of Gold and Bones. Good set, glad I went for my first Stone Sour show. On a side note, you can practically see Corey's ego get bigger as silly people chant his name.
When halestorm did Still of the night. I had goose bumps and chills through my spine.
First the Grey Eagle is a great venue for concerts! Stone Sour have always been a great live band. Corey gives it everything each and every show and he did just that with this show! Energetic loud and great sound. Stone Sour are the band to see live hard rock at its best
We got the VIP package. Was an incredible night. All three bands were great. The VIP experience was smooth and organized. Got front centre on the rail, so basically a meter away from the singers. An unforgettable night.
A great show. A solid band and a bucket list band to see. I'm glad they came to play
Very nice venue. Doesn’t feel over crowded. I’d definitely go again.....
Lzzy has incredible vocals! Halestorm is a fantastic band with tons of energy. Their sound was great and every word was understood. Stonesour was good, but the vocals were hard to understand. Singer used all the old lines “best city ever” “best crowd ever” (he should have at least waited until after the 3rd song). Seemed to me more like mocking the “rock crowd” than to unify us with the band.
Great venue at a decent price for tickets and drinks.
Halestorm is THE most underrated band in the world. Their talent and showmanship is top notch. LOVE THEM and will see them every chance I get
Another great show at the abby arena !! so nice not having to drive to van to see a show. Both bands were amazing !!
Stone Sour, Halestorm and the Dead Deads put on a great rock show. Would recommend checking them out. Seats were great.
Stone sour, Corey Taylor....how is that a bad thing?!
I travelled 4000kms from Ottawa to Vegas to see Stone Sour. I did the meet and greet. Those things are normally pretty impersonal, but they were really awesome guys. They hung out with us for almost an hour. It was definitely worth the trip.
Both Stone Sour and Papa Roach put on amazing shows. Lots of energy and great music. The show was definitely worth the price of admission.
