About

In certain serendipitous cases, a band’s name perfectly encapsulates their essence, and heavy metal rockers In This Moment are a case in point - the sheer power and immediacy Maria Brink’s vocals make it difficult to be anywhere else. Simultaneously vulnerable and snarling, Brink’s emotional growl is a focal point on 2012’s Blood, the band’s 4th – and most successful – album to date. Singles like “Blood” and “Whore” pulled no punches, landing the album at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and cementing Brink’s place as one of the dominant female voices in alternative metal. After forming in Albany in 2005, the band’s 2007 debut Beautiful Tragedy quickly made them a metal festival staple and the opening act of choice for bands like Megadeth and Rob Zombie. Their 3rd album, 2010’s A Star-Crossed Wasteland, was a crossover success, landing at No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart and spawning a hit with “The Promise”. On Tour in 2013, the band has been blowing ticket buyers away with their thundering live concert, pulling fans into the moment with Brink’s commanding presence.

    Amazing performance from MIW

by Steve on 2019-11-07The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

My husband and I went mainly to see Motionless In White play and had a blast. My husband did point out whoever was in charge of the sound did a horrible job and shouldn’t be in charge of sound anymore at the Palace Theatre.

In this Moment was an amazing performance. Wish I would have known they were not on stage till 930pm. Since it was a long wait but still worth it.

    by T.S on 2019-10-18REBEL - Toronto

I have been dying to see this band live for ages. Maria and the team put on an amazing show. It was musically spot on. The set was awesome and the dancers were great! I just wish they played a few more songs and some of the older stuff.

In This Moment electrifies the Burt

by chiefkewj on 2018-03-02Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Awesome show by both Hollywood Undead and In This Moment. Hollywood Undead brought thier brand of Metal-Rap, with a dash of country for the prairie folk. In This Moment delivered on their theatrics and intense vocals by Maria Brink, which left many wanting more.

    A brief Moment

by Ditch on 2017-11-11Burton Cummings Theater - Winnipeg

"Avatar", best show of the night. "Mice and Men", listen to their album while looking at a picture of the band, it will be the same as watching them live. "Hollywood Undead" lots of energy, but the lip sync to their previous singer was horrible. You got rid of the guy move on. "In This Moment", was that, a moment. Love the band, but disappointed in the amount of songs they played. The visual part of the show was excellent, but I don't pay money to listen to a jam session, I pay to here and see the best you have to offer. "Avatar" and "Hollywood Undead" I would go see again.
